Enamelling copper jewellery - private taster session in Worcester

Description

A fun creative workshop in Worcester (a private class as a 1-1 or for a small group of up to 3 people) to create your own enamelled copper jewellery to take home with you at the end of the session. This is a fun beginner's taster class using powdered enamels on copper shapes. Your booking is private for you/your group only. 

You will select and prepare your copper shapes and then add layers of sifted coloured glass powders, firing each layer of each piece directly in a 800C kiln for a few minutes (safety equipment available but a steady hand is useful!). I will show you various options for adding some details eg: sgraffito, stencils, inclusions like glitter etc. and you can choose what colour combinations and finishes you'd like to try. At the end you can add a jump ring and can take your pieces home with you.

You will each be able to make 3 items of jewellery (either 3 pendants or 2 pendants and 1 pair of earrings). For safety reasons, this workshop is limited to 3 people max and over 14s only (U16s accompanied by paying adult).

The cost of the workshop includes all materials and equipment required (please bring your own face mask).
