CPD Accredited: These sessions are non-Ofqual regulated. However, they are taught by our trainer, who is an accredited first aid trainer via Qualsafe Awards, First Aid Awards Ltd and Highfields Qualifications. You'll get accredited quality either way! These sessions are CPD Accredited, so you'll get 1.5 CPD hours with this training. The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those wishing to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Throughout this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including administering CPR, using a defibrillator, dealing with wounds and bleeding, minor injuries and more.

An Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is designed for individuals who care for infants and children, such as parents, teachers, childminders, and nursery staff. The course lasts one day (6 hours) and covers essential life-saving skills and first aid procedures for children. Key Topics Covered: CPR & AED Use (for infants and children) Choking Management Recovery Position Dealing with Unconsciousness Bleeding Control & Shock Burns & Scalds Treatment Febrile Seizures Allergic Reactions & Anaphylaxis Fractures & Head Injuries This course meets Ofsted and EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) requirements for emergency first aid training. Terms and Conditions for Booking an Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course 1. Booking and Payment 1.1. All bookings must be made through the official booking system and are subject to availability. 1.2. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place on the course. 1.3. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have received this confirmation. 2. Cancellation and Refunds 2.1. All bookings are non-refundable unless cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the course start date. 2.2. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the course start date will not be eligible for a refund. 2.3. In exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the course provider, bookings may be transferred to a future course date. 2.4. If the course is cancelled by the provider, a full refund or alternative course date will be offered. 3. Attendance and Participation 3.1. Participants must attend the full duration of the course to receive certification. 3.2. Late arrivals may be refused entry and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling. 3.3. The course provider reserves the right to make changes to the course date, venue, or content if necessary. Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible. 4.2. Emergency First Aid at Work. This 1-day FAA Level 3 Award course offers training for a variety of emergency first aid situations in the workplace. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these safely and efficiently.

Our 8 hour course will enable students to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations and/or take on the role of emergency first aider in the workplace. Qualification Information This qualification and learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of: The Resuscitation Council (UK) Skills for Health Assessment Principles for First Aid Qualifications Course Content Following this course students will: Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider. Be able to assess an incident. Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally. Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally. Be able to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking. Be able to manage a casualty with external bleeding. Be able to manage a casualty who is in shock. Be able to manage a casualty with a minor injury. Who should attend? This qualification is for people who deal with first aid at work enabling them to be workplace emergency first aiders under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This qualification is also for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid to people in a range of emergency first aid situations. Pre-requisites Students must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training. Assessment and Certifications Assessment of this course is continuous and also includes 1 theory/multiple choice question paper. Successful students will receive an Immerse Training Certificate, which is valid for three years. This certificate will be issued by Qualsafe, the awarding body for Immerse Training. Additional Information Completion of the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work includes 1 credit at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
