This is an online course sat at your own pace to introduce you to clinical coaching. As an Abbeydale training practice the cost of this course is including with the annual TP fee. During the course we will go into the concept of training a student, learning methods, tutorial techniques, safeguarding and how to use the Central Skills Log (CSL). The course is open for 2 months. Once completed we can then arrange access to the CSL for one of Abbeydale’s students.
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable pupils and students is more challenging than ever. This masterclass is designed to equip key safeguarding staff with the knowledge and strategies needed to navigate the complexities of protecting our most at risk young people. In an ever changing landscape, where safeguarding concerns are becoming increasingly complex, this session will explore the key vulnerabilities affecting students today and the practical changes that can lead to earlier identification and intervention. We will examine critical areas of concern, statutory safeguarding requirements, key statistics and the risk factors that place students at heightened risk. Additionally, we will review best practices for providing effective support, ensuring that every young person receives the protection and care they need.

And it was in conducting a large piece of research into sector wellbeing, that Claire recognised this significant gap in provision and went on to create Lift. In 2020, Claire won the Best Digital Leader Award at the Social CEO Awards for her wellbeing work during the pandemic. In 2021, she curated the first Charity Workplace Wellbeing Summit and was named as one of Charity Times Magazine’s 20 Pandemic Pioneers.
