The Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course helps you appreciate the complexity of these habitats and teaches you how you can help conserve these vital systems. Anyone who has an interest in the aquatic world can take this course. There are no prerequisites or age restrictions, and no water sessions are required to earn this non-diving certification. Through online classroom discussions, you learn: - How coral reefs function and the complex nature of life on a reef. - Why coral reefs are so important. - Why many coral reefs are in serious trouble. - What you can do to prevent further decline. - How Project AWARE unites divers and water enthusiasts to make a difference. At the end of this course, you receive an electronic PDF certificate to recognize your attendance. Join us for an informal virtual briefing and discussion session, featuring exciting updates from Kids in Museums. We will be sharing information about the updated Kids in Museums Manifesto and the Family Friendly Museum Award 2025.  
The Kids in Museums Manifesto is a set of simple guidelines for museums, heritage sites and cultural organisations, which we update every two years. Between October and December 2024, we consulted hundreds of children, young people and families about what makes a heritage site a great place to visit. In this session, we will reveal the new version of the Manifesto, along with low and no cost changes you could make to enhance your museum’s family provision.  
You will also hear more about the Kids in Museums Family Friendly Museum Award, which recognises the venues that are most welcoming, fun, and accessible for families.  
In this session, you will:

Kesia Lupo joined Donald Maass Literary Agency in 2024 after 11 years working across the publishing industry. She started out as an editorial assistant at Pan Macmillan London in 2013, transitioning to children’s fiction in 2015 when she moved to Chicken House (a UK imprint of Scholastic), where she worked her way up from junior to senior editor. Here she acquired and edited bestselling, internationally successful and prize-winning fiction for middle grade (MG) and YA readers. In 2023 she transitioned over to the US and agenting, working with the Bindery Agency before finding a home with DMLA.

At DMLA, Kesia is building a list leaning 60/40 towards MG and YA fiction, with the rest consisting of adult fiction and a smattering of adult non-fiction. She is especially, but not exclusively, interested in underrepresented voices, whether BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, disabled writers or other identities not listed here. What does this course cover?
This is an online course for developing history leadership in primary teaching. This term, we will be piloting the course as an immersive programme covering the key elements of primary history subject leadership, enabling all involved in history leadership at primary to carry out their role effectively.
How is this course structured and delivered?
The course will take place in ten online sessions from January–May 2025. Sessions 1, 8 and 10 are compulsory to attend live. Participants will be required to complete a gap task after each session and contribute to an online reflection diary.
The other sessions will be recorded for participants to work through at their convenience, though participants are encouraged to attend the recording sessions live in order to make the most of the programme. All recordings will be made available on the course Moodle page within two working days of the live recording session.
Who is this course for? 
This programme is designed for anyone who is a subject coordinator or subject leader for history in their primary school. You may have just been appointed as a subject leader, or be more experienced but looking for formal training or fresh inspiration and direction.

This course contains both self-study and live training in online classes and covers the META-Health Level 1 and 2 material. It will take 6 months including 24 live sessions, 2 hours each, mainly in a weekly rhythm. You will get preparatory videos, reading material and tasks that help to understand and integrate the content, while the group sessions focus on demonstrations, discusion of the material, and practical exercises for you. All the time, our trainers and tutors will support you and we’ll be a learning family with an active chatgroup. Altogether you should reckon approximately 5 hours per week.
To cover most time zones, the schedule will be tuesdays at 17:00 GMT (London), starting on 7 January 2025.

You will learn the META-Health methodology for self-help, coaching and therapy:
Understand the META-Health principles and the Organ-Stress-Emotion-Belief Connection
Use META-Analytics for assessing the background and development of any health issue
Establish stress triggers, emotions and beliefs affecting your client’s health issue
Learn the building blocks for efficient changework and therapy
Unlock people’s healing potential through META-meanings, facilitating health supporting lifestyle changes
Develop integrative tailor-made META-Health Action Plans for your clients
You’ll learn META-Health from scratch. Those who have absolved a MHI Level 1 training within the last year get a discount of 20% of the training fee.
This training prepares you for the certification process to become licensed as META-Health professional.
Certification is optional. Even if you aren’t a health professional, you may enter the training to deepen your knowledge, understanding and resources for becoming and staying healthy – however be aware that basic knowledge of biology and anatomy will be very helpful!

These awareness-intensive processes are a legacy of the human potential movement (HPM) of the 1960s, with techniques such as AUM Meditation Marathons, Psychodrama, Bioenergetics and Primal Feelings work.</p>
