Effective supervision offers many opportunities for learning and growth, as well as providing invaluable support. Successfully completing this training will enable you to work as a supervisor-tutor with Part 3 trainees and as a supervisor with qualified HG therapists. It is therefore a combination of assessment and learning. Throughout the course, therapists practise and demonstrate through discussion, exploration and reflection, a broad range of skills and topics. Assessment will be on-going throughout the course by the two highly experienced tutors and you will also be given feedback from your peers and the experienced facilitators. Course requirements: To apply, you must be an experienced HG therapist who has delivered a minimum of 1,000 sessions of one-to-one HG therapy and is registered with the HGI You must have the support of your supervisor/s, and Submit the information required by the application process by the deadline (this will be announced when we have the next course dates available, provisionally Spring 2025). Course Dates The HG Supervisor course is made up of two blocks of 3 days, held approx. a month apart. We typically run our supervisor training once every 18–24 months. This course is suitable for anyone looking to become an accredited tutor or trainer. You may be new to the teaching or training sector; thinking of a career in training and development, or already training / tutoring and would like to become accredited. The course is delivered over 5 half day workshops which develop your knowledge and skills of training techniques. There is some home study, a tutoring session and a 20 minute micro-teach. The total duration of the course is approximately 8 weeks. In this Advanced Bridal Hair and Makeup Course you are taught 20+ Bridal Makeup Looks and 37+ Bridal Hairstyles with scope to creating more than 50 makeup looks and more than 50 hairstyles. This course is suitable for beginners (no experience required) and professionals wishing to update their existing knowledge and skills and add new ones. The Photoshoot is Evidence of the Students Achievement The students portfolio work is strictly the students work only i.e. the student has done all the makeup, all the hairstyle, and all the jewellery and outfit setting by themselves at the end of the course without any physical help from the tutor or anyone from her team. Many other teaching establishments pass off pictures as students work whereas the tutor or helper usually do all the hairstyling, and dupatta and jewellery setting themselves, and the student only does the makeup, and in some instances makeup by the student is done on only half the face, whereas the tutor has done makeup on the other half. The whole point of doing a hair and makeup course should be so that the student can complete total hair and makeup looks by themselves by the end of the course without any further help.
