Our workshop packages are perfect for groups looking for an alternative activity to take part in as part of a corporate event, team building exercise, stag or hen do, birthday party, Christmas party or any other occasion you’d like to embellish with a unique creative spin.  Below is a list of ‘off the shelf’ workshops and packages we currently offer however each of these can be customised to suit your needs. So if you like the look of tie due but also want to give t-shirt printing a go drop us an email and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Similarly if you’d like any of these experiences to come to you please get in touch as a selection of our equipment is portable. Booking a workshop as a group would give you a discount price as well. If you are more than 5 people, you can get it from 50£ per person (regular price 75£) for our usual 6h workshop. Join Helen of Evendawn Arts for this wonderful watercolour painting workshop. Create two beautiful Christmas cards. Festive Robin and sweet donkey. The workshop is aimed at all levels of watercolour experience from complete beginners. ( age 14 upwards ) The images will be drawn out for you on suitable watercolour paper, so there’s no need to worry about being able to “draw”. There’ll be some warm up exercises to begin, for you to get used to the paints, brushes, paper etc and that point you’ll mix your colours ready to paint your cards. Helen will explain everything throughout, including different techniques and ways to work with the paint, such as applying masking fluid and how to create a great background effect. please bring something to carry your lovely cards home - a tray or box would be suitable.

Right before Christmas, NYE and holidays will make some of us more lazy, I am happy to invite you to practice with me the first of the last two Yin Practice for this 2022. What is Yin Yoga? Yin Yoga is a Yoga style based on keeping positions (or "asanas") for an extended period of time, allowing us to reach and deepen the union between our body and our mind. Join Harriet Shepard Art at Harbour View Studio in the heart of Compton Acres gardens to make your own coasters using fluid art techniques. A wellness space is created with relaxing scents and sounds for an immersive experience where you can escape from it all in a world of colour and creativity.  Children 10 and over who have an interest in art, may come along if accompanied by an arty adult.  You will explore two techniques to create 8 coasters, 4 in each style. 1 from the 8 will be selected to be made into printed hardback coasters 3 sets of 4 in a box. 3 Christmas gifts sorted!  All skill levels are welcome. The workshop will include: A relaxing welcome and introduction to techniques Preparing to create on tiles Colour combinations Mixology of paints for the 2 techniques CREATION Selection of Coaster for print You will have the option to have the 8 originals presented in a frame as a piece of art at an additional cost. These can not be used as coasters unless they are heat proof resin coated, this is something we are unable to offer in this studio space but can be discussed with Harriet.  Fluid art can be a messy business! Please wear suitable cloths or bring aprons / overalls - Its often your feet that get caught out . . . gloves will be provided (latex free).  You are welcome to bring your own paints, however I recommend only Amsterdam or Pebeo brands for this style of art.  The studio can be chilly, so layers are recommended!
