Course Details Any persons carrying out non-licensed works with asbestos containing materials, as laid down in CAR 2012, Reg 3(2). This would normally include, but is not limited to, trade operatives such as demolition workers, construction workers, general maintenance staff, electricians, plumbers, gas fitters, painters and decorators, joiners, shop fitters, plasterers, roofers, heating and ventilation engineers, telecommunication engineers, computer installers, fire and burglar alarm installers, architects, building surveyors and other such professionals or any other persons likely to disturb and carry out work on asbestos containing materials as defined in CAR 2012.

This course is ideal for anyone working in childcare – The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid will give you the knowledge to act with confidence and how to deal with emergency situations in a safe and appropriate manner. This course covers the more common illnesses that occur in children as well as the types of incidents and accidents that could happen.

Emergency First Aid at Work covering the full HSE syllabus. First Aid at Sea. This course is an excellent first aid training package for people to gain invaluable knowledge and skills and learn how to help themselves, family, team mates and friends if they were to have a medical emergency on the water. This course fulfils all the criteria for Appointed Person first aid training, however a practical course is required in order to be a full First Aider. This course does not seek to replace the practical element but allows you to undertake the online training at a time and place to suit you and then book onto practical course should you need to do so. This course provides the delegate with the theoretical and practical skills to undertake non-licensed works with ACM's. Persons requiring this type of training would include trade operatives undertaking tasks with ACM's as defined in HSG210 and in accordance with CAR 2012 Reg 3(2). In addition to the Asbestos Awareness, those employees whose work will knowingly disturb ACMs, and which is defined as non-licensable work or NNLW, should receive additional task-specific information, instruction and training.
