First Aid - Level 3 First Aid at Work Re-Qualification Two Day Course Cost:  £125 + vat per person Group Booking: 8 People or more £850 (inclusive of vat). SYLLABUS A range of subjects are covered, including:- Legalities, responsibilities and reporting Dealing with an unresponsive casualty Fractures and spinal injuries Resuscitation and AED Awareness Assessment of the situation CERTIFICATION Control of bleeding Shock (including Anaphylaxis) Heart attacks Head injuries Sprains and strains Poisoning Bandaging Choking Eye injuries Chest injuries Maximum of 12 People All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. This accredited Two-Day First-Aid at Work Course is designed for those who currently hold a First-Aid Qualification that is due to expire and meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The Certificate is valid for 3 years and will expire from the date on the certificate. Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour) Description: This two-day paediatric first aid course focuses on emergency scenarios that face those looking after young children and infants, including day nurseries, private nursery schools, pre-schools, before and after school clubs for children in the early years age group, childminders, parents and carers of children at home. Designed around the needs of all child carers, our paediatric first aid courses place emphasis on dealing with sick or injured children and babies. Our 12 hour course syllabus exceeds the Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements. Our professional trainers utilise both practical and theory sessions. Learners receive a Paediatric First Aid guide book, a training dressing and a CPR barrier protection device.Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Learners are assessed continually by the trainer. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. Our *NEW* Mini First Aid Baby Proofing class is our second class, designed for parents and carers of babies and children over 3 months. It can be taken after our 2 hour Baby and Child First Aid class, or in isolation for those parents who are starting their weaning journey, or have a baby on the move!

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. Paediatric First Aid at Work RQF is training designed mainly for those who work with children in a childcare setting and include both children and infants. This course also awards the learner with 8 UCAS points.

Our 12 hour First Aid at Work Level 3 Requalifying Course is specifically designed to allow first aiders to renew their first aid at work qualification.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.

1 Day Emergency First Aid Description: The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course is nationally recognised. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. This one-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace.It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller or a low risk working environment.
