Learn to applique, learn what tools and tricks you need to really make this work for you. Also get to grips with the really free and artistic free motion machine embroidery technique. Set your machine free to draw with it, combined with applique you can make stunning art! This is a very practical and hands on class which will see you appliqueing & free motion stitching in no time, the techniques are easily mastered so you can spend your time creating. Part of a 4 day quilting course, but suitable as a stand alone course too.

We would like to welcome you to a creative Saturday afternoon with our team and hand build up to three pieces in our creative studio in Angel. We run four week beginner courses for new students. In this time you will learn the ABCs of Wing Chun and be well prepared to join the foundation level class on completion of the course. It costs £40 for the course and you can train twice a week, giving you access up to 12 classes in that time. Please contact us to book your place on the next available start date.

Beginner Ballroom Course Waltz, Rumba, Cha-cha, Foxtrot, Tango, Jive

In this class we will talk about different kinds of wadding and will learn about the quilting together of all the layers with either straight lines or freemotion stitching. Then we will learn to bind our mini quilts (bring the mini quilt tops we created in earlier classes, or bring your own) Wadding and thread all included in the price, as well as a copy of my In Stitches sewing handbook. You will also receive a free walking and free motion foot for your machine! Just let me know when you book what machine you have (this offer does not apply to Bernina feet I'm afraid!)
