This Programmable Logic Controllers Beginner course aims to enable maintenance personnel to be able to understand the Programmable Logic Controller program, make minor modifications to the program and to fault find quickly using both software and printouts.

We have available to book on a first come first served basis a 4hr 18th edition update course which will look at the changes in full, how it will effect your installations and best practice going forward, therefore answering all your questions. The release of the publication is due at the end of March 2022 and we will be running these courses in mid to late April, these always become fully booked and we shall only be running them for a short time period. All course material will be provided along with use of the new 18th edition book.

Gas ACS Training - CENWAT (Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters)

The UK has set an ambitious 2050 Net Zero Carbon target. A fundamental part of the Net Zero Carbon strategy is to change from gas heating systems to cleaner electrified heat. This course aims to equip those involved in forming energy strategies, planning developments, new building projects, refurbishment projects on how electrified heat can be correctly applied. Whilst a major focus of the course is on heat pumps the course also considers other options for electrified heating and what the components are for all these heating system options. The course also details building fabric considerations, electrical system requirements and addresses the issue of using electrified heat to generate hot water for domestic purposes.

Gas ACS Training - CKR1 (Cookers)

This online PLC training course is done as a live classroom, using an online virtual classroom platform with live classes and a tutor present throughout the course. Not just an e-Learning package, this is a REAL LIFE classroom, giving you the opportunity to interact with the tutor. This course is fully interactive and a free copy of the software to each attendee which the tutor can view and give feedback on. The course is the best possible online experience you can have with a fully accredited certificate on completion of the exam. All instructions for installing the software and licencing it will be given prior to the course beginning. No prior knowledge is required for this course as it starts from scratch and assumes no previous experience, you will reach the skilled level where you can look at becoming a programmer, get into engineering maintenance in an industrial environment, fault find or make amendments to programs, this is the course for you. The ‘Typical’ 5 day course covers 2 of the major manufacturers, Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley (but will be slightly bias towards Allen Bradley due to the simulation software being used, which will also be given to you to keep). The course aims to be 90% practical, as we believe the easiest way to learn is to do it! A full set of course notes and manuals will be emailed to you.
