About Lowri Wilkie Wellbeing
Lowri Wilkie (BSc) is a Psychology PhD candidate at Swansea University and assistant psychologist in a Community Neuro-rehabilitation Service within the National Health Service (NHS), where she supports people living with Acquired Brain Injury and stroke. Lowri’s research efforts involve developing and evaluating community-based interventions which utilise principles of positive psychology and wellbeing science to promote health, wellbeing and social connectedness. Her research uses a wide range of methodologies, including physiological, qualitative, quantitative, and meta-analytical approaches. Lowri is also a mindfulness teacher and has several years’ experience of delivering interventions, workshops and coaching across a range of healthcare, corporate and private settings. She is currently undertaking teacher training to become registered with the British Association for Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA). Lowri has contributed to the development of novel theoretical frameworks of health and wellbeing and has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on the themes of positive psychology, well-being, post-traumatic growth, chronic conditions, health equality and healthcare innovation.
