I wanted to create and express who I was through painting, design, photography and dancing. I wanted to work with colours and shapes. Instead, I was encouraged to pursue a more conventional path and went on studying accounting. It took me a long time to discover, or rather re-discover, my passion. I didn’t choose this purposeful path until I was in my early thirties. I spent the last ten years of my life working in the corporate world before following my true calling. I did enjoy my job in Finance but I wasn’t 100% fulfilled. I clearly wasn’t making use of my strengths and talents. This was frustrating and affected my self-esteem.

Spanish for ‘This Book’ Este Libro hand makes a range of Coptic Bound books, albums and diaries, as well as Coptic Binding Kits and screen printed textiles. Started in 2016 by me, Esther Williams, Este Libro has grown from making sketchbooks in my bedroom to curating a range of hand crafted bespoke products from my studio in Somerset. Each screen print is designed by me, influenced by abstract art and 1950’s interior design, I cut the stencils by hand and print onto cotton layer by layer, building the design one colour at a time. Anna Kosa is a London based abstract expressionist artist with a background in BA Design & MSc Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. She is passionate about creating positive mental health enhancing original fine art paintings, interior pieces and delivers Positive Psychology Infused Abstract Art Workshops to individuals, groups and corporate clients. Designed to relax the mind, help cultivate positive emotions, mood states stimulating the creative side of the brain and help individuals to reconnect with their creativity and improve their chosen areas of self development. This effect reduces cortisol that is created by stress & elevates dopamine levels improving creative problem solving. She is inspired by Positive Psychology concepts such as Post Traumatic Growth, Broaden & Build theory informed by colour psychology. Her inspiration for colours come from the nature. The layering is informed by the complex nature of human beings. She has most recently attended O.Z.O.R.A. international music festival in Hungary, delivering her signature Positive Psychology Infused Art Workshops 'Paint with Intention' and 'Kids Painting Club'. Her work has very recently featured in British Vogue, London Life & Tatler. She is also part of The World of Interiors spring campaign in their March, April & May issue 2021. She is currently a self represented artist.

I am an abstract artist living in Edinburgh, UK, and I work in mixed media, including acrylics and collaging techniques. Creating exhilarating and compelling paintings is what I strive for, by manipulating different materials and media. I usually begin my process by adding loose layers, building up textures and color, while being directed by gestural marks that I react to. A new body of work often appears when a certain color, a piece of collage or something else such as a visual prompt, has stirred up inspiration. It is important to me to let the work develop organically and let it lead the way. I especially enjoy the beginning stages of playful movement, and activating the canvas with impulsive mark-making, often a graphite pen or big splashes of color. Sometimes I begin with collaging, creating textures and patterns before even a drop of paint has hit the surface. From there, the painting starts to take a direction of its own. Using stimulating tools, anything from brushes and pens to scrapers, scratching tools and even sandpaper on the surface, the piece starts to form..
