5 Days (Excluding Weekends) We run weekly open courses for accreditations including CPCS, CSCS Health & Safety, NPORS, IFAP, SMSTS and more. We also offer bespoke training courses or in house training nationwide. Upon arrival at our centres candidates will be inducted to the site by their qualified instructor who will be training them for the day. After registration candidates will be issued with a pack full of information relevant to the category they are being trained in. Included in this pack are theory questions, practical specifications, pre-start check lists, marking sheets and more. We ensure that these materials provided excel the individual to successfully complete their course. We are aware that having good quality machines give candidates a significant advantage when undertaking their training. We endeavour to supply candidates with the highest quality plant training and machinery on our site using a variety of certified suppliers. The CITB SSSTS course is an accredited Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme for the construction site supervisor, these are generally referred to as SSSTS training courses. The supervisors safety training scheme is now a requirement set out by the major contractors group for all supervisors who will be working on their sites. Construction skills and health and safety need to go hand in hand and made a priority to encourage improved work skills and reduced accidents and injuries. The course takes place over two days and will teach health and safety skills needed to maintain a safe site. A thirty minute multiple choice examination will follow the training. Upon successful completion of the SSSTS training the candidate will be awarded with the CITB Site Supervisory Safety Training Certificate. Barista Skills teaches the essential practical skills needed behind the espresso bar, such as how to set your grinder, make espresso, foam and texture milk for cappuccinos, and create latte art, as well as an exploration of health and safety issues, customer service protocols, and basic business practices. The Barista Skills Foundation course allows learners to gain an introductory understanding of the coffee itself and foundational skills required to set a grinder, make espressos, foam and texture milk and latte art techniques per SCA quality standards while implementing health and safety practices and customer service. Practical learning objectives and activities prepare the learner to conduct key foundational tasks of a barista. A written exam tests theoretical knowledge based on Foundation course learning objectives.

CITB HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARENESS COURSE The 1 Day CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce, to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site. The Site Safety Plus 1 day CITB health and safety awareness course provides a practical summary of safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employers duties are and what should be done if they think anyones safety and health is being put at risk. The aims and objectives of the CITB health and safety awareness course are to ensure that individual responsibilities are understood: why they are carrying out their identified duties what is expected of them to ensure that they contribute to the safety of the workplace To ensure that the end of the CITB health and safety in construction course delegates will be able to: understand the need to prevent accidents have an understanding of the law identify how their role fits into the control and management of the site understand the need for risk assessments and method statements appreciate the need to perform safely and to stop and ask for advice if not sure feel obliged to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident IMPORTANT INFORMATION Photographic I.D. is required for all delegates Written parental consent is required for all delegates under 18 years of age Failure to provide this on the first day of the course is likely to result in the delegate not being allowed to attend or complete the training.

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. The NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate aims to build on the success of the National General Certificate. It provides an appropriate breadth of underpinning knowledge for non-specialists in fire safety to enable them to discharge more effectively their organisational duties or functions with respect to workplace fire safety. The course has been designed for managers, supervisors, employee representatives and others who are required to conduct and review risk assessments and fire preventative and protective measures within the workplace.

All occupational health and safety practitioners (OHASPs) need to have a common core of knowledge in order to practise effectively. The NEBOSH National Diploma aims to provide the knowledge and understanding that underpins competent performance as an OHASP.
