Overview
During this live-online masterclass we will focus on understanding recent developments in the mental health and wellbeing of children in the UK, including looking at the impact of cultural and technological changes over recent years and the impact this is having in schools. We will explore the overlap between the roles of the DSL and the Senior Mental Health Lead in responding to, and preventing incidents, as well as the need for the wider Senior Team involvement in embedding an effective whole-school/school approach.
Delivered by one of our mental health experts, the course will allow you to learn in a live real-time environment, with a range of discussion points, activities, and Q&A session to ensure that you are able to complete the training with a clear understanding of current developments and best practice in relation to effective whole school/college approaches to mental health and wellbeing.
