Whether you are a beginner or an experienced jeweller, Louise is on hand to help you create your own cabochon design from silver clay. You'll be guided by Louise to help you make your own pieces for you to treasure and take away! Louise has a relaxed, informal approach with the aim of having fun as well as learning and creating lovely pieces of jewellery. Come and learn to make your own unique solid silver ring from the amazing material that is silver clay incorporating a stone. I will show you how to size, design, make and fire your ring into a beautiful solid silver piece ready to wear home. You will make a patterned ring band and a ring with a stone setting. Our instructor, Louise, is fully qualified as a senior tutor and holds an Art Clay Higher Diploma and has been teaching jewellery making for over ten years.

This course is over one full day. In the morning we will look in detail at tackling number skills beyond 10: ¨ Rote counting in 10s, 5s, 2s, teens and counting through decades up to 100 ¨ Recognising 2 and 3 digit numbers, place value and order ¨ Counting to find how many – beyond 10 ¨ Adding up and taking away – methods to succeed ¨ Fractions, multiplication, division and using calculators

Our Level 3 ISIA work and training is designed for those who have completed their Level 2 or equivalent. A love of training and progressing as well as a willingness to work and become a better teacher in our Ski School.
