Our Cosmeti-Craft Workshops are a great way of learning a new skill and having some fun making your own cosmetics. Children from age 5 upwards can have fun learning about colours and smells while older children experience a more detailed tutorial on the uses and effects of cosmetic ingredients.

Whether starting from scratch or beginning again as an adult after regretting giving up at an earlier age (a most common scenario!), I'm confident you will find what you need here to have a most satisfying hobby or interest that can be done at any age and at any time.

This course aims to give the learner the understanding of what autism is and how it affects a child or adults daily life, we will discuss the typical behaviours and how to offer support. We will identify a range of interventions and approaches improve the quality and daily lives of individuals with these conditions

About the event We are pleased to be hosting a Doing History at University event for students and teachers in partnership with the University of Sheffield. The aim of the event is to introduce students to history at university, and how to make yourself stand out in the application process.  Sheffield University has one of the largest, most active and successful centres for teaching and historical research in the UK. It was ranked among the UK’s top three history departments for the impact and quality of its research, and its teaching is consistently rated as excellent. This one-day event will equip students with the tools to ensure that you have the best chance of studying history at the university of your choice. For a day packed full of helpful advice, workshops, mock interviews and case studies, plus sessions from the University of Sheffield history department and a chance to meet current students, this event is a must for students looking to study history at university and post-16 teachers looking to support their students.  Programme The programme will include:  Advice about admissions from the University of Sheffield Making the leap from sixth-form to university history What makes a great undergraduate historian How to make your UCAS application stand out Support for those applying to universities with interviews A sample lecture from Professor Julie Gottlieb A sample seminar with Dr Miriam Dobson A chance to meet current students Booking information Places are limited with a maximum of 5 per school. Teachers may book places on behalf of their students. The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) qualification has been designed for anyone who wishes to learn basic life support skills for adults, children and infants. It is also ideal for those who are qualified in providing first aid and are looking to refresh or develop their existing first aid knowledge.

This regulated and nationally recognised basic life support training (BLS) and management of anaphylaxis course allows students to hone their skills and knowledge in BLS and AED use as well as anaphylaxis treatment. This first aid course is intended for individuals who have a specific responsibility at work, at home, or in volunteer and community activities to render basic life support and manage anaphylaxis in the event of an emergency. This course can be adapted to both adults and paediatrics.

The Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF) is ideal for a wide range of healthcare professionals. This includes doctors, dental professionals, medical students, nurses, midwives, and physiotherapists who need an ILS qualification for their registration with regulatory bodies like the GMC, GDC, NMC, and HCPC. It's also perfect for those looking to advance in their careers or needing an ILS certification for new job opportunities.
