Autism and Autistic Spectrum Disorders are examples of lifelong developmental disabilities that affects how a individual communicates with and relates to other people within society. Statistical evidence from the National Autistic Society shows that 1in every 100 of the population is diagnosed with this condition and numbers continue to increase. This course aims to give the learner the understanding of what autism is and how it affects a child or adults daily life, we will discuss the typical behaviours and how to offer support. We will identify a range of interventions and approaches improve the quality and daily lives of individuals with these conditions
This course is suitable for any person looking to develop and enhance their knowledge and understanding of customer service skills in the workplace. Learners will learn about both the theory and practice of effective customer service.
The course is both theoretical and activity based in nature
The participant will receive up to date research based information relating to effective customer service and ensuring an effective customer journey by using appropriate management strategies coupled with person centred approaches that can help promote effective customer service for your service users.
Discussion, case studies, role play and group work will be used to facilitate understanding and knowledge and they will be encouraged to outline their personal experience of the topics covered in the course
