Little Crafters is a craft session run by Make, Do & Trend for 18 months-4 year olds. We have a selection of trays out with different crafts to do alongside your child. Each month there will be a new theme with this special on New Years Eve! Your little one will take home at least 4x crafts based on the current theme as well as a snack bowl to have at the end of the session. We will also have a mini New Years Eve countdown before snack time! Tea/ coffee and biscuits will also be provided for the grown ups. Instructions Children are to be supervised at all times. Aprons are available when painting but please be aware that clothes may get messy. Siblings not participating in the crafts are welcome along for free.

Older siblings are welcome and can either pay sibling price and join in with the crafts (snack bowl included) or come along for FREE (snack bowl not included) and I’ll have some colouring and games for them 😊 Tea/ coffee and biscuits will also be provided for the grown ups. Through our ballet and dance programs, your child will experience the joy of dancing while developing essential skills like coordination, balance, and rhythm. Our classes also foster creativity, imagination, and self-confidence. Join us this term at Tiny Toes Ballet as we embark on summer sporting adventure in our children's ballet classes.

You Can Cook in partnership with Locavore Edinburgh have organised two cookery workshops in the Cafe that will address health and nutrition issues along with raising food awareness and budgeting skills. The cookery demonstrations will support and engage all participants in a social and learning activity along-with helping them to learn basic techniques and skills in cookery. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and socialise at the same time. Tasters and recipes provided along with a wealth of information that is specific to you.  Come to enjoy, eat and learn. Join us for an interactive food workshop giving practical advice and support for the body’s transition during peri-menopause and menopause. We will discuss menopause-related nutrition, focus on foods rich in calcium and vitamin D to support bone health, and emphasise the food groups that ensure a high intake of vitamins, minerals, and fibre We will also look at how to include whole grains to promote heart health, which is particularly important as the risk of heart disease increases after menopause and discuss the benefits of soy and soy products, as they contain phytoestrogens, which may help balance hormones. We will have a cooking demonstration as part of the workshop, discuss meal planning and have a Q&A with our nutrition expert At the end of the cooking session we will eat together as a group This event includes sample recipes and a free meal kit to cook at home. £5 per ticket
