We are an WSA & ISA Instructor led Standup Paddleboarding (SUP) coaching school based on and around the River Medway in Kent. We offer courses for all levels of SUPer, starting with beginners, gaining confidence to get you started with SUP in the best way, working on your core skills to succeed with SUP. Race Training The training sessions will be an opportunity for you to push your paddling further than ever before. Each session will be focused on your fitness and paddling skills through interval training and drills. You will be able to progress your own paddling and build your confidence from these sessions. SUPventures Our SUPventure River Tour Expeditions travel the length of the River Medway. We have adventures for all levels of experience on both the tidal and non-tidal sections of the River. We visit some of the most beautiful and sometimes forgotten places on the River.

We want to make SUP as accessible as possible, to as many people as possible, regardless of physical, sensory or learning disability. We want as many people as possible to experience the benefits in a safe, regulated and controlled environment but most of all have LOTS of fun in the process!

wot-sup paddle school

To document our adventures we launched wot_sup on Instagram and on entering 2021, still in lockdown and hungry for something more, we began to talk about how we would like SUP to become a lifestyle change for us. We wanted to push our own boundaries of something we had previously just enjoyed recreationally. SUP had got us through some really tough times...and we wanted others to benefit from that too :) We wanted to teach people the physical and mental benefits of paddle boarding and how, where and when to paddle correctly and safely! We wanted people to join ‘wot-sup’ the social group, for fun, enjoyable paddles, of an evening, after work or of a weekend! We wanted people to follow our ‘wot-sup’ adventures where we hoped to provide inspiration for others or create opportunities for people from different regions to cross paths, new places and create lasting memories. And so a BSUPA Instructor course and many months of teaching throughout 2021 later, and our dream has become a reality!!
