The NEBOSH General Certificate qualification has been recognised for many years as an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety. The NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate is designed to provide a similarly sound foundation in environmental management.

Learners will cover: The anatomy of the lungs; gaseous exchange; the breath-brain connection and the physical and mental benefits of breathwork. How to hold space for breathwork; creating a trauma-informed space and basic facilitation skills. How the breath impacts the vagus nerve and its connection to the parasympathetic nervous system. The structure of a breathwork session and how to build momentum with music and motivational cueing (i.e.what to say and what to play). The content of a breathwork session with an in-depth study of 6 unique breathwork exercises. Advanced Facilitation skills – How to plan for emotional and physical reactions; how to modify for different audiences/special populations.

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to work in an unsupervised capacity; planning, instructing and evaluating a safe and effective Pilates session.

The purpose of these qualifications is to enable learners to coach clients – one to one and in small groups – towards their health and fitness goals. The qualification aims to equip the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to plan and instruct programmes for exercise referral. Learners will cover: Skills relating to the qualification: Collect and analyse nutritional information and apply the principles of nutrition to a physical activity programme. Collect information about exercise referral patients and prepare patients and resources for exercise referral sessions. Instruct, adapt, conclude and review exercise referral sessions. Agree on goals, plan, manage, review progress and adapt an exercise referral programme with exercise referral patients.

This qualification is suitable for learners holding a Level 2 qualification in Gym Instruction or equivalent who wish to progress to a career as a professional Personal Trainer on an employed or self-employed basis. This qualification is mapped directly to: The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) professional standards for a Personal Trainer.

The Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is usually a one-year pre-university qualification that provides students with an entry route to an overseas university. The L3IFDHES prepares students with the essential English language skills, key transferable study skills, cultural knowledge, and chosen specialisms that universities feel bridges the gap between high school and undergraduate study. In January 2023 we offer pathways in business and higher finance. With agreements in place with over 70 universities across the globe, students’ can progress with confidence to a higher education course for further study. Entry Requirements For entry onto the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) qualification students must have successfully completed secondary school education. Students must also meet the English language entry requirements of: • IELTS minimum score of 4.5 or above OR • GCE ‘O’ Level English D7 or above Alternatively, a student can take the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test which is administered by our Accredited Partner Centre’s.
