Welcome to Tiny Toes Ballet Staffordshire. Offering award-winning pre-school children's ballet and dance classes from walking to 7 years old. With our kids ballet classes and kids dance classes, your child will discover the joy of dancing, while also developing important skills such as coordination, balance, and rhythm. Date: 31st October Time: 4pm Location: Studio A A classic of the horror genre and 1970s cinema, The Exorcist focuses on a battle of wills between a troubled priest and the demon possessing a young girl. William Friedkin's masterpiece of terror is one of the essential scary films everyone needs to see.

Date: Monday 23rd October Time: 4pm Location: Studio A Come and see Celine Sciamma's (Portrait of a Lady on Fire) exploration of gender identity and youth, Tomboy. When they move to a new neighbourhood in Paris, 10-year-old Laure sees the opportunity to present a new gender identity for themselves. Told with touching delicacy and subtle yet powerful drama, this film is a tour-de-force approach to the topic.

Date: Monday 11th December Time: 4pm Location: Studio A One of the most important British films of all time, Powell & Pressburger's Black Narcissus will be screened in advance of our December Professional Perspectives guest, Craig McCall, who will join us to speak about the career of Jack Cardiff, one of British cinema's most acclaimed cinematographers ever. Set in a mysterious monastery high in the Himalayas, the film focuses on the mental unravelling of a group of nuns trying to establish a school there, whilst erotic paintings on the ancient palace walls taunt their deepest, darkest desires. Come see the film that won Jack Cardiff the Oscar for Best Cinematography, and that lives on today as a prime example of psychological drama.

DATE: Tuesday 21st May TIME: 4pm LOCATION: Studio A The renowned and brilliantly-chameleonic actor Jason Flemyng is coming to Central Film School this month, and we couldn't be happier to have him. With an amazing CV including films and series such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Boiling Point, A Town Called Malice and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Jason will be talking about his career, how the industry has changed and giving practical, down-to-earth advice for our actors. There will also be an opportunity for students to put their own questions to Jason, so make sure you book a ticket and come along!

Time: 4pm Date: Friday 8th December Location: Studio A Come and celebrate the work of your fellow CFS students and staff, as we showcase short films that have been made within our academic community! Featuring a wide variety of different visual stories, genres, themes and ideas, we are proud to be showcasing all these films in Studio A on the big screen! Be sure to book your ticket to come along to our school's own miniature film festival!

Date: Wednesday 11th October Time: 4pm Location: Studio A - Landor Road Events Details: Our 'QUEER COMING-OF-AGE' season continues with a father-son road trip story exploring body dysmorphia and familial acceptance; 2020's indie hit Cowboys. Steve Zahn and Sasha Knight star as Troy and Joe, a father and transgender son who head off into the Montana wilderness to escape Joe's traditionalist mother, played by Jillian Bell. Detective Faith Erickson is hot on their tail, as the father (suffering from bipolar disorder and a drinking problem) teaches his son to shoot guns, live off the land and become the man he wants to be. A powerful but gentle film about the freedom children are afforded in choosing who they are. After the film we'll head to The Landor pub next door where we'll discuss what we've seen over some drinks. Don't miss out, book your ticket now!

Time: 3:45pm Date: Wednesday 13th December Location: Studio A Our Festive Film has been picked by you all, and it's the 90s holiday classic HOME ALONE! Kevin McCallister (Macauly Culkin) is fed up with his family, so when he accidentally misses being taken on their Christmas holidays, he's left all by himself in the family home. Kevin needs to learn how to fend for himself quickly though, as two scheming burglars plan to loot all the nice wealthy houses that have been left empty over the holidays. Be sure to book tickets in advance to this exclusive Christmas Screening taking place in Studio A before the Christmas Party at the nearby ARCH Clapham afterwards!

DATE: Thursday 8th June TIME: 4pm LOCATION: Studio A MAX ALBRECHT is the creative director and founder of Critical Mask Pictures, a production company that focuses on narrative filmmaking. Max will be joining us on Thursday afternoon to discuss how best to market yourself and find work as a freelancer in the film and television industries. With years of experience under his belt, this will be a great Life Skills Session to attend to learn about life after CFS. Max will also discuss his experiences founding a production company and operating as a sole trader, so that attendees can learn of all the many ways to make a living independently in the business. A Q+A Session will take place for anything specific people wanted to ask. Be sure to book your free ticket in advance so that you don't miss out!
