Our Anaphylaxis and Adrenaline Auto-Injector course is suitable for people who are responsible for caring for others, whether adults or children, who may have serious allergy. The course includes modules explaining allergic reactions, early recognition of symptoms and crisis management. The QA Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care also known as FREC3 is a PHEM D qualification which is the entry level into being able to provide medical cover at events. The cost is £425 plus VAT per person (£510pp) This is a 5 day course being held at our training centre in Laindon, Essex (SS15 6SS), all days must be attended and sessions will be 9am-5pm each day. Available course dates: July – 8th-12th August - 5th-9th The course will run with a minimum of 4 learners and a maximum of 6 learners. A half day course that looks at the implications of the recent NICE guideline changes to the management of hypertension. The course gives a brief introduction to the pathophysiology of hypertension and the ways in which it is investigated and treated.

A comprehensive two days, delivered using a variety of teaching styles, by professionals who manage medical emergencies on a day-to-day basis. A number of the more common presenting conditions are covered providing a structured approach to the pathophysiology, initial assessment and management of the acutely ill medical patient.

This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for the adult patient requiring High Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO).

Immerse Medical are experienced at teaching first aid to young people within the educational sector. We have designed this workshop style programme specifically for those in KS3/4. The sessions are fun, engaging and focus on fundamental life saving skills. Using interactive gamification, students gain hands on experience, which they will draw upon in real life medical emergencies. These sessions are perfect as part of phase 2 of National Citizenship Service (NCS) and Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Awards. More than first aid – While participating in this workshop young people will also develop their ability to work as part of team, communicate effectively and think critically in high pressure situations leading to an overall increase in personal confidence.
