Paediatric first aid training: What will you learn? The course covers everything listed below. There will be practical demonstrations, role playing and several activities to keep things moving along. You’ll use the whole range of paediatric first equipment, and will try out your newly learned techniques on my adult, child and baby mannequins. I’m happy to tailor the content with additions. This 16 hour outdoor first aid course complies with all the qualification requirements set down for outdoor pursuits instructors looking to retain qualifications under the MLTE, BCU and BASI, the course includes both classroom and outdoor sessions and also involves training on an variety of improvised rescue techniques. This 3-hour course covers Basic Life Support skills and includes skills for adult, child and infant as well as healthcare variations on infant CPR. The course includes: safety, precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression only CPR, CPR handover and choking. This course complies with the latest ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond.
