Take a pause with us for our Easy Vegan Paella Cooking Class. This session is about slowing down, connecting with others, and finding joy in the process—not just the final dish. We’ll come together to cook one big, vibrant pan of plant-based paella, rich with color, flavor, and soul. Paella is traditionally a communal dish, and we’ll embrace that spirit by working as a team to chop, stir, season, and simmer. No rush, no pressure—just the shared experience of creating something beautiful together. You’ll learn how to balance bold flavors with simple, fresh ingredients, and how to enjoy the rhythm of cooking without a timer ticking. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence. Whether you’re a kitchen pro or a curious beginner, you’ll leave feeling grounded and inspired. Bring your curiosity, a friend if you'd like, and an open mind. Let Sunday be a reminder that cooking can be a form of connection, creativity, and care. This class is spondsored by the Lottery Community Fund, Awards for All and run by Gloria, chef from Madebyflour By attending this class you release the teacher, Giada Gaslini and Art and Spirituality Cic, from any liability arising out of any personal injuries, emotional or physical release, death, expectations of results, theft in the venue or damages that may happen to people and objects while attending.

Join artist Julie Galante for an afternoon of homemade botanical inks made from foraged plants and kitchen scraps. In 2023 Julie dove into ink-making, producing more than 300 inks from over 100 different botanical sources. In this three-hour workshop, Julie will share what she’s learned from all these inky experiments, giving you the skills and knowledge to create your own library of botanical colours. She'll share her core learnings, including the best ways to extract colours, the best plants to use, and how to preserve and store your inks. We'll also cover different ways of finishing your inks depending on how you'd like to use them. Please note this workshop will take place in Julie's Stockbridge studio, which is accessible via three flights of stairs. We will also spend part of the workshop foraging outside, weather permitting, so please dress accordingly. Tea and coffee will be provided.
