How does in-person training work? Once you place your order, you can access your course content online. We will message you with some training dates to arrange your practical day. We teach Monday to Saturday so we always have many dates to choose from. You will have access to training material online and have to study the content and complete the theoretical part of training before your practical assignment. You will then come to our venue in Leyton E10 6RA where we will spend 2-4 hours learning and practising the Japanese head spa. This is course will give you EVERYTHING you need to become a VTCT Level 2 Qualified Skin Specialist. Why do you need THIS course? Previously the beauty industry had very lax regulation and you could start your business with just CPD accreditation. However, insurance companies are now looking for qualifications like VTCT as these are a set standard that require assignments and exams at a very minimum of Level 2. This means a combination of both VTCT and CPD means your business will meet industry standards What is the difference between CPD and VTCT? Qualifications are listed on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which is the national framework of UK qualifications, and the certificate of achievement is issued by an Awarding Organisation. Shorinji Kempo is a Japanese martial art focused on self defence, a healthy mind, and a healthy body. You will learn some awesome kick-ass moves, while also getting fit, meeting new people, and having a lot of fun! The class contains both "hard" techniques (punches and kicks) and "soft" techniques (pins and throws). We also do meditation and philosophy, and a form of pressure point massage. Monday classes are usually taught by Sensei Nicki (4th Dan, she/her), who also teaches on Saturdays at our other location. Sensei Mike (5th Dan, he/him) usually teaches on Fridays at Totterdown. Shorinji Kempo is a Japanese martial art which focuses on three main benefits - healthy mind, healthy body, and self defence. Our classes will teach you self confidence and self defence skills.
