This course is for learners who support an individual with epilepsy who may require the administration of emergency medication. In addition to epilepsy awareness, this course includes the knowledge and skills along with competency sign-off for use of emergency medications.

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. This one-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace.
The three-day FAW course is our most thorough First Aid course. It is designed for you if you are a nominated First Aider in a hazardous environment, such as a factory or a construction site, as well as providing you with complete training for any other work situation.
Paediatric first aid training: What will you learn? The course covers everything listed below. There will be practical demonstrations, role playing and several activities to keep things moving along. You’ll use the whole range of paediatric first equipment, and will try out your newly learned techniques on my adult, child and baby mannequins. I’m happy to tailor the content with additions. If you want me to focus on a specific area of paediatric first aid, that’s fine. The 2-hour Baby & Child First Aid class covers CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures and Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness and will give everyone who attends the peace of mind they deserve.
