Coal Centrifuge

By Coal Centrifuge

A Coal Centrifuge is a vital piece of equipment used in the coal preparation process to remove excess water from the coal. This machine operates on the principle of centrifugal force, rapidly spinning coal slurry to separate the water from the coal particles. The use of a coal centrifuge is crucial in reducing the moisture content of coal, which not only enhances its quality but also improves its burning efficiency and reduces transportation costs. By effectively dewatering the coal, the centrifuge ensures that the final product is of higher quality, suitable for various industrial applications.

BOOKINGS CLOSED! 9th September Jo Williamson #Agent121. Looking for: MG, ADULT FICTION

By I Am In Print

LOOKING FOR: MG, ADULT FICTION Jo Williamson has been in publishing for over 25 years. Having worked in Children’s books PR for Dorling Kindersley, HarperCollins and Orion, she started as an agent with Antony Harwood in 2008. She feels very privileged being with authors at the very start of their publishing journey and enjoys close working relationships with all her clients. From editorial help, general advice on the publishing world, guiding careers long-term and general cheerleading, she feels she has the perfect job. Although nothing is off limits and she loves being surprised by submissions. In middle grade children's fiction, Jo is particularly looking for books with heart, epic adventures with voice-led characters, and younger funny fiction with series potential.  In adult fiction, page-turning Commercial Women’s and Book Club fiction are right up Jo's street, including psychological suspense, thriller, cosy crime and books that don’t quite fit the mould. Above all, she wants stories that linger long after the final page has been read. Jo is not the right fit for police procedurals. Jo would like you to submit a covering letter, 1 page synopsis and the first 5,000 words of your manuscript in a single word document. (In addition to the paid sessions, Jo is kindly offering one free session for low income/underrepresented writers. Please email agent121@iaminprint.co.uk to apply, outlining your case for this option which is offered at the discretion of I Am In Print).  By booking you understand you need to conduct an internet connection test with I Am In Print prior to the event. You also agree to email your material in one document to reach I Am In Print by the stated submission deadline and note that I Am In Print take no responsibility for the advice received during your agent meeting. The submission deadline is: Wednesday 3rd September 2025

Twist & Bliss Yoga

twist & bliss yoga

5.0(4)

Edinburgh

It is a myth that we must be flexible to do Yoga. We do not arrive to Yoga with perfect bodies. Through breath and mindful movement we move our bodies and our minds toward wholeness and healing, and we learn to  accept ourselves as we are each day.  WHAT IS VINYASA FLOW YOGA? Vinyasa Flow yoga classes are both a physical challenge and a moving meditation. We start with yogic breathwork (pranayama) and warm up our bodies with gentle movements.  We then move into a more rigorous flow where we connect our breath with our movement through various yoga postures.  Modifications are offered for different abilities and those with conditions and injuries.  We then wind down with relaxing postures and deep rest.  In these classes you can expect to build physical strength, balance and stamina.  You will also develop a mindfulness practice and better body awareness.   This is a strength-based style of yoga so expect to sweat. At the end of class, you will leave feeling challenged and energised, yet also calm and centred.  With regular attendance you can expect to feel stronger and more flexible, to have better balance and to learn mindfulness tools to manage stress.  -- Please note: a reasonable level of fitness is required for these classes. You should be able to walk briskly for a mile and go up and down stairs without difficulty. Flexibility is NOT a requirement, rather it is one of the benefits gained by practicing yoga. 😊 After my first yoga class, I was hooked. I felt so calm. My body felt so open, and so tall. For more than 20 years now I have attended yoga classes for fitness, fun and to find a place of peace and respite. It’s helped me through bouts of back, neck, and wrist pain when I worked in IT. Yoga kept me fit during pregnancy and gives me a calming place to go when I need a break from the constancy of motherhood.
