Each class will touch on details, perspectives, depth and composition, as you go from 5 minute exercises to relax the hand and work on composition, to 30 minute detailed vistas as you walk around nearby beautiful and historic locations.

Our taster and introductory workshops focus on teaching creative skills and methods you can continue practising at home, using affordable materials and equipment. Where more expensive equipment is required we will mention this in the workshop description.

Accessibility
The workshop space is on the first-floor of our Georgian mews home and unfortunately we do not have lift access. Blue badge holders can park outside our front door on the single yellow line by arrangement.
Allergies
The workshop space is in our open plan living space and is not nut free. Please let us know about any skin or food allergies before booking. We offer a dairy-free milk and gluten free snack alternative.
Minimum number no refund policy
To ensure we can always pay our creatives a fair fee, we require a minimum number of bookings for each workshop and for this reason bookings are non-refundable. Should we have to cancel due to low numbers, we will offer you the option to swap to an alternative date or workshop, or to request a refund.
We do our very best to avoid cancellations. Since we often get late bookings, we keep our workshops on sale for as long as possible. We realise that some of you travel from afar, so if you book a space and have not yet received an email confirming your workshop is going ahead and need to make plans for your trip, please get in touch before booking any travel or accommodation so we can update you on booking numbers. In this one-day, beginners&#39; workshop with artist Panna Chauhan, you will study both the italic and foundational scripts, and learn how to use these in unique and abstract ways to create a framed calligraphy artwork ready to hang at home.The foundational and italic scripts are different in the way they are written, and because of the way the pen is held, and each has a unique look and style.Under Panna&#39;s watchful eye, you will spend the morning learning and practicing letter forms in the basic foundational hand (or script): learning about the different types of nibs; correct sizing of letters; and how to hold the pen with the right tension to achieve a fluid letter.After a break for lunch, you will study the italic hand in brief before moving on to combining both these scripts to create an abstract calligraphy artwork. &nbsp;Panna will provide you with a calligraphy pack, including practice sheets, to use on the day which you can take home with you. With 7 years of STEAM teaching experience, a well developed background in Textile Science and Engineering and extensive experience working with companies such as IBM, she decided to reshape STEAM education. As a winner of Dean’s Prize of Czech Technical University and creator of sound generative haptic suit,  Linette believes that education and technology are key to building a prosperous future for everyone.

EFQM Performance Improvement Practitioner Course
A 2-day deep-dive workshop on RADAR and how to use it as an agile project performance framework.
The essential course for anyone wanting to learn more about the RADAR logic and how to build a continuous improvement culture and mindset across your whole organisation.
 
Who is it for?
This course is suitable for anyone who wants to understand the RADAR logic and how it can be used to make their organisation more effective.
Whilst this training is effective as a stand-alone course; it is also a Level 1 option for anyone considering one of the EFQM qualification routes as a way of progressing their management development and career.

The EFQM Performance Improvement Practitioner training provides core knowledge about the RADAR Logic. In some cases, the training will have fulfilled an individual's learning needs. In many cases, the individual will want to consolidate their learning by applying the theory to a practical task. We encourage you to apply RADAR to a practical, work-based project, and we provide guidance on how to approach and complete your project. 
 
Completion of the RADAR Performance Improvement Project also allows you to progress to one of the advanced EFQM qualification programmes: EFQM Performance Improvement Leader, EFQM Assessor or EFQM Organisational Change Leader.
 
EFQM Performance Improvement Leader
If you successfully complete the EFQM Performance Improvement Practitioner training and the subsequent project, you are invited to apply for the EFQM Performance Improvement Leader assessment. You will be guided and coached by an EFQM trainer and asked to present your project to the EFQM expert panel. Here you will answer questions about how you applied the RADAR logic and principles (we provide participants with templates for running the project, as well as a high-level mid-term review). You will also receive feedback on how to improve and maximise the use of RADAR for future endeavours.
