In this free and welcoming session, you’ll learn how to reduce stress and anxiety using one of the most powerful tools you already have: your breath. This practical class is designed to help you identify the signs of stress in your body and mind, and gently guide you toward restoring balance using simple, effective breathing techniques. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or simply in need of a moment of calm, you’ll leave with easy-to-use tools that can support your well-being anytime, anywhere. Through guided exercises and gentle breathwork, we’ll explore: How to recognise stress and anxiety patterns in your daily life Why the breath is such a powerful tool for emotional regulation A variety of simple breathing techniques to calm the nervous system How to use breath as a grounding practice in moments of overwhelm A short relaxation practice to integrate what you’ve learned No previous experience needed—just bring yourself, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to breathe. The RQF examination allows learners to demonstrate knowledge of BS 5839-1: 2017 as part of competence in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of FD&FA systems.

Learners will be introduced to the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of intruder and hold-up alarm systems.

Learners will develop knowledge of FD&FA systems and apply this to the provision of detection and electrical actuation for gas extinguishing systems.

The Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is usually a one-year pre-university qualification that provides students with an entry route to an overseas university. The L3IFDHES prepares students with the essential English language skills, key transferable study skills, cultural knowledge, and chosen specialisms that universities feel bridges the gap between high school and undergraduate study. In January 2023 we offer pathways in business and higher finance. With agreements in place with over 70 universities across the globe, students’ can progress with confidence to a higher education course for further study. Entry Requirements For entry onto the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) qualification students must have successfully completed secondary school education. Students must also meet the English language entry requirements of: • IELTS minimum score of 4.5 or above OR • GCE ‘O’ Level English D7 or above Alternatively, a student can take the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test which is administered by our Accredited Partner Centre’s.
