LOOKING FOR:  MIDDLE GRADE, YOUNG ADULT & ADULT FICTION AS WELL AS NON-FICTION FOR ALL AGES Prior to joining DKW in 2023, Camille worked at David Higham Associates as Agent’s Assistant to Jane Gregory and in the Children’s Translation Rights team. She has also worked in editorial for an academic publisher, in rights and marketing for an audiobook publisher and as an intern at Felicity Bryan Literary Agency. Camille loves engaging with narratives on a structural level in order to draw out their best qualities. Camille has an MSc in Publishing from Edinburgh Napier University and an MA in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. She was Secretary of the Association of Authors’ Agents, as well as Co-Chair for the AAA’s Bridge Committee for early career agents and assistants, from late 2021 to early 2024. She also previously volunteered at the Story Museum in Oxford. Camille is looking to grow her list with a particular focus on middle grade, young adult and adult/crossover fiction, as well as non-fiction for all ages. This degree course has been developed to reflect the recent huge surge in demand for professional, technically skilled production design graduates who are equipped with vital creative, logistic and production skills, who are ready to enter into the industry. Fundamental to the delivery of this course is the teaching of production design within the broader Film School environment. This unique shared arrangement will enable you to hone specialist design skills in the classroom and test them out in live film projects. You will also gain an understanding of your place within film production and build a network of peers, alongside whom you can progress throughout your education and then on into the workplace.

An intensive one-year programme that develops the writer’s original voice, embeds professional practice and enhances employability. At LFS you will gain expertise and experience that form the foundations of your professional screenwriting practice. You will forge relationships and develop networks that propel you into the film and television industries. MA Screenwriting focuses on the development of the individual screenwriter’s voice. You will be supported and challenged throughout your one year MA as you explore that voice through your screenwriting. You will work collaboratively within a diverse, international cohort and within the conservatoire atmosphere of LFS. The development of your feature screenplay, at the heart of your MA, is undertaken in small Feature Development Groups of 3 or 4 students, chaired by a tutor. Regular Group meetings are structured around the giving and receiving of feedback and the deep exploration of your feature project from initial idea through several draft screenplays. The ambition and variety of students’ screenplays reflect both the depth of their creativity and the breadth and diversity of their backgrounds and interests. In addition to your feature screenplay you will have opportunities to write short screenplays and to develop a television series idea.

A single day knife making course is a great way to make yourself an item that will last a lifetime, on this one day course we forge a small knife with a simple ash handle. A knife is one of the oldest tools ever made by humanity and it is one that invokes many emotions to people when they see and use it for a productive task. When doing a knife making course here at Bearded Pig Forge we will discuss the fine details of a knife and how they are made as well as the history of forging them.  On the course you will learn the basics of forging a blade and heat treating them in order to get the best results from the high carbon steel, we will also be learning how to fit and shape handles by using a burn through technique to attach the blade to the handle. Courses are £165 Per person per day.  I run a strict cancellation policy.
