If you want to be better at making to-do lists or managing time better this is NOT for you! The time challenges we all face at work need to be addressed with a different approach. This 'bite-size' session takes a fresh approach to how we deal with time personally and challenges the belief that we don't always have enough time. The workshop will be participative, interactive, and will cover the personal relationship we have with time and how this impacts on dealing with challenges and ever-changing priorities on a daily basis at work. The workshop will give you some practical tools and ideas on dealing with your thieves of time from a different perspective, including interruptions and emails. To enable participants to organise and use their time effectively, using strategies to help with both 'thinking' and 'doing' that are fit for purpose. Complementing the ‘Zones of Regulation’, or as a stand alone self regulation technique, Snappy Tappy® provides a practical and accessible method for children and young people to modify/calm the emotions they are feeling ‘in the moment’ or ‘after the event’, to help them feel LESS;  • anxious  • angry  • fearful  • frustrated  • overwhelmed  • shame  • hurt  or any other emotion which is distracting them, pre occupying them or preventing them being ‘in  the green zone’ or in a balanced emotional state.     Snappy Tappy® which is an adaptation of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an evidence-  based modality. It is often referred to as Tapping by practitioners and users because that is what  we do.    Tapping works with the body’s internal energy systems similar to Acupuncture. However, where  Acupuncture uses needles, Tapping uses stimulation of the meridians using gentle finger tapping  pressure, while simultaneously focussing on the current difficulty. This dual attention helps your  brain process whatever might be troubling you.    Snappy Tappy® training takes place over two sessions both 3-4 hours long. The initial training introduces the background to Tapping, examines other adaptations of EFT and gets you ready for your own Snappy Taps and case studies. These are then reviewed 2 months later and you’re on your way to helping children and young people with Snappy Tappy®. Your licence is valid for 1 calendar year and can be renewed following a yearly check in and CPD.     Meet the trainer:   Miriam is the author and creator of Snappy Tappy® and uses daily in her workplace within education. Hi, my name is Rhonda and I am the founder of MyNuMe Ltd. In my mid 40’s I started experiencing changes mentally and physically that I couldn’t really understand. At the time I was a Top Consultant for one of UK’s leading weight loss organisation’s, having this experience I thought I had a sound knowledge of how to look after myself. However, as time went by, I didn’t seem to be in control of the changes happening to me, I was gaining weight particularly around my tummy and nothing was working anymore, also for the first time in my life I was experiencing anxiety and unusual low moods, irrational mood swings and heart palpitations. I visited my GP who ran blood tests, which came back normal so was prescribed anti-depressants and beta blockers!!!! This medication made me feel so poorly, I felt increasingly worse and had very little medical explanation as to why, so this is where my self-study started, and I soon learnt I had started perimenopause; I had no idea – I had heard about hot flashes/flushes, but I had no knowledge of all the other 60+ symptoms or the stages of menopause. With this fresh and cathartic education, I embarked on a more holistic approach towards my health and wellbeing. During my mission to support myself, I studied Menopause, Nutrition, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Wellbeing, Behaviour Change and Meditation and became passionate about sharing my knowledge. As an accredited Coach in all the above, I have developed my skills, supporting women to understand the nutritional, mental and physical components of all the stages of Menopause and how to become healthier and happier in this liberating, second spring in a women’s life.
