First Aid - Level 3 First Aid at Work Re-Qualification Two Day Course Cost:  £125 + vat per person Group Booking: 8 People or more £850 (inclusive of vat). SYLLABUS A range of subjects are covered, including:- Legalities, responsibilities and reporting Dealing with an unresponsive casualty Fractures and spinal injuries Resuscitation and AED Awareness Assessment of the situation CERTIFICATION Control of bleeding Shock (including Anaphylaxis) Heart attacks Head injuries Sprains and strains Poisoning Bandaging Choking Eye injuries Chest injuries Maximum of 12 People All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. This accredited Two-Day First-Aid at Work Course is designed for those who currently hold a First-Aid Qualification that is due to expire and meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The Certificate is valid for 3 years and will expire from the date on the certificate. The three-day FAW course is our most thorough First Aid course. It is designed for you if you are a nominated First Aider in a hazardous environment, such as a factory or a construction site, as well as providing you with complete training for any other work situation.

This 16 hour outdoor first aid course complies with all the qualification requirements set down for outdoor pursuits instructors looking to retain qualifications under the MLTE, BCU and BASI, the course includes both classroom and outdoor sessions and also involves training on an variety of improvised rescue techniques. First Aid at Work - Annual Refresher

Our 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work course gives the participant the knowledge, skills and confidence to deal with with first aid incidents in the work environment. Employers can book this course for their employees in the knowledge that they are fulfilling their duty to provide quality first aid training to their employees.

What is Mental Health First Aid? Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. MHFA England training won’t teach you to be a therapist, but just like physical first aid, it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. Adult MHFA England courses are for everyone aged 16 upwards. Every MHFA England course is delivered by a quality assured Instructor Member who has attended our Instructor Training programme accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health, and is trained to keep people safe and supported while they learn. What will I learn? − A deeper understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect people’s wellbeing, including your own − Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues − Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress − Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening − Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to appropriate support.

First aid, CPR, AED, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

A Health & Safety Executive Approved course that complies with First Aid Regulations 1981. This is a refresher course for those that have previously attended and passed the First Aid At Work Course and now need to renew their certification. Who Should Attend? People that hold a valid First Aid At Work Certificate Course Content Health & Safety Using a First Aid Kit Incident Management Resuscitation / CPR - Adult, Child, Baby AED Familiarisation Recovery Position Choking - Adult, Child, Baby Burns & Scalds Poisoning including Anaphylaxis Epilepsy Shock Bleeding & Nose Bleeds Asthma Head Injuries Fractures, Sprains & Strains Many Other Specific Conditions Course Duration: Two Days Assessment / Certification Independent qualified assessors carry out the assessments. Each delegate that passes will receive a Certificate valid for Three years. Please note that training can take place upto 3 months in advance of the Certificate expiry date. The new Certificate will be dated from the expiry date of the old Certificate.

Our one day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course covers all the subjects required by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to make this an approved course. However, if you have particular risks in your workplace please let us know in advance of the course so that we can tailor your time with us to include training in those area.  This course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering: Adult resuscitation (CPR) Burns and scalds Choking adult Communication and casualty care Defibrillator (AED) prompts and pad placement Minor and severe bleeding Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations) Seizures Shock Unresponsive adult Catastrophic bleeding can be added as an optional module for workplaces that require it following your first aid needs assessment.
