This 6-hour qualification provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help.

3 Hours Description: This 3 hour course provides your first aiders with the opportunity to practice and update their practical skills, refresh theoretical knowledge and ensures that they are kept up to date with the latest first aid guidelines. Assessment and Certification Students are continuously assessed throughout the course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Certificates are issued on all first aid courses which includes the annual refresher course date. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. It equips learners with the essential skills, confidence, and knowledge to handle a wide range of first aid situations in the workplace. Who Should Attend? This course is ideal for anyone appointed as a first aider in medium to high-risk workplaces such as construction sites, factories, warehouses, large offices, or schools.
