Airway Management Airway Management Training Course Three Hours Cost:  £50 + vat per person This 3-hour course will equip learners with the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise on how to manage a casualty’s airway in the event of an emergency. The course is suitable for First Aiders, pre-hospital care providers and those working in high-risk environments. SYLLABUS A range of subjects is covered, including: The respiratory system Principles of airway management Airway examination and assessment The airway management ladder Practical training CERTIFICATION Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual throughout the course and issue a non-regulated certificate of achievement where the required level of attainment has been met. This TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to provide learners with the essential skills and knowledge to handle emergency situations in the workplace effectively. Ideal for those responsible for first aid in low-risk work environments, the course offers a blend of theoretical instruction and cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) practical sessions to enhance hands-on experience in a safe, controlled environment. 3 Hours Description: This 3 hour course provides your first aiders with the opportunity to practice and update their practical skills, refresh theoretical knowledge and ensures that they are kept up to date with the latest first aid guidelines. Assessment and Certification Students are continuously assessed throughout the course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Certificates are issued on all first aid courses which includes the annual refresher course date. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. This 6-hour qualification provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help.

2-Hour Baby & Child First Aid Class in Quedgeley Gloucestershire

Our first aid at work training courses are in accordance with guidance provided by the Health & Safety executive (HSE) and are both fun and informative. This qualification should enable Learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider and include dynamic and realistic casualty simulation which puts the candidates through their paces. We hold the First Aid at Work course at our Education Centre in Ellesmere Port. We are also able to teach this course 'in-house' at our clients preferred site. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
