This Level 3 Course is a full 3 day first aid at work course which is designed to help higher risk organisations. We can come nationwide or you can come to us.

The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid course has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs, or other childcare settings, and has been perfectly streamlined to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses separately.

This one-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace.

Our first aid at work training courses are in accordance with guidance provided by the Health & Safety executive (HSE) and are both fun and informative. This qualification should enable Learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider and include dynamic and realistic casualty simulation which puts the candidates through their paces. We hold the First Aid at Work course at our Education Centre in Ellesmere Port. We are also able to teach this course 'in-house' at our clients preferred site. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

First Aid at Work Heath and safety law states that all employers should provide a safe and healthy working environment. This is even for those who are self-employed and have one employee, and all the way up to a large international business. Our course will provide delegates with the knowledge and confidence to attend any first aid situation. The First Aid at Work Training course covers the following: The Role of a First Aider Health and Safety Regulations (First Aid) Responding to an Emergency Casualty Care Unresponsive Casualty (Recovery Position) Resuscitation (CPR) Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Choking Seizures Shock Bleeding (Minor and Severe) Burns and Scalds Chest Pains (Heart Attack, Stroke) Eye Injuries Bones, Joints and Muscle Injuries Head and Spinal Injuries Allergic Reactions including Anaphylaxis Poisoning Check and Abdominal Injuries Summary Course Duration: 18 Hours - usually delivered over 2-3 days Course Validity: 3 Years - annual updates are recommended Training Availably: On or Off site

Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

The First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed to 'requalify' existing First Aiders and gives candidates the opportunity to learn up-to-date best practices. The course is held regularly at our Medical Education Group Education Centre located near Ellesmere Port. Our first aid requalification training gives learners the chance to update their skills through practical, theoretical and scenario based learning. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.
