Safe Isolation of Low Voltage Electrical Installations for Plumbers & Heating Engineers

The one day glass fusing course is designed to give total beginners an introduction to a new skill, and allow more time to create a larger piece of work. At the end of the day, you will have created a glass bowl, wall hanging or large wave (approx 30cm x 30cm). You should also have had some fun! I keep the glass fusing classes small, to make sure it's easy to give everyone as much input as is required. There is a 2m gap between all work-stations, to help maintain social distancing. We also provide visors (or you can wear your own mask), and there is lots & lots of hand sanitiser. All equipment & materials are disinfected before the start of each day. You don't need to bring any materials, as everything required to create your piece of work is provided. The only thing you need to wear are closed shoes (e.g. no sandals), and to bring some lunch. We can also arrange lunch at a small cost, if required. You'll start the day by creating a design - you can bring your own, or we can provide one. You'll learn how to cut the glass & then build up your design which is then fired overnight. You will be able to collect your design the next day, or we can arrange to post it to you (you just need to cover the cost of the postage). Timings: 10am - 4pm Buying as a gift? Just select the most appropriate date and, if that turns out not to be suitable, the recipient can simply reschedule over the phone or by email (we just need 2 weeks' notice).

This workshop is designed for people who have never baked bread before, those that have dabbled a bit with varying degrees of success and for regular bread makers that would like to learn more about the skills, techniques and science involved in bread making.

In this fun and focused session you will learn how to throw pots with a wheel each and have the opportunity to paint what you make for firing. Carole will demonstrate the process and teach you the technique. The session is suitable for all including children age 7+, couples, friends, families, and small groups.

This course certifies the student for their Maryland Handgun Permit. This course also certifies for Florida out of state (good in 37 states) and Delaware for Delaware residents. You can bring your own firearm or use one of our Glock 9mm firearms. You may also provide your own ammunition in any caliber if you are bringing your own firearm or if you are using our firearm you may pre-pay for the ammunition at $25.00 per box (you will need two boxes of 100 rounds). Choose the ammunition add on if you are not providing the ammunition.

Evidence of the contents of the programme detailing the Off the Job training and On the Job experience must be presented to the Assessment Centre as above. 4 to 5 jobs are required as a minimum for your portfolio.
