NEBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography for Qualified Dental Nurses

The qualification is aimed at learners already working or preparing to work in industry that is identified within the company's risk assessment of First Aid. The qualification has a recommended course duration of 3 days; however the course duration may be increased to meet additional learning needs if required but not reduced.

Please note: To attend our Access Group sessions, including Step Out, families must be registered with us for Access Group support. If you're not yet registered or you're unsure, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help. Join us at Access Group - Monday 10 - 11.30am for those children that do not have access to a suitable education setting or who are on a part-time timetable because of their disability. This is an International Driver CPC - 7hours course - Rules of the Road & Customer Service and it is suitable for LGV & PCV and will cover: Requirements, Speed Limits, SMART Motorways, Highway Code, Road Signs, Bridge Strikes, Mobile Phones, Sat-Navs, Traffic Accident Procedures, Company & Driver Image, Who Customers Are and What They Want, Communication Skills, Giving Good Customer Service. All courses start at 07:45 hrs and finish at 15:45 hrs All courses are 8 hours long with included 2 breaks of 15 minutes and a lunch break of 30 minutes. Approval: This course is registered with JAUPT as approved for Driver CPC qualification. Course Approval Number: ICRS24736/475. On completion of the course, all attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. Please note repeat courses are not accepted by DVSA and by joining this course you confirm that you are aware of the modules covered by you and certify that, if you have covered these before you are happy to repeat the modules due to needing further education on the subject.

The two-day Youth MHFAider® course is tailored for people who teach, work, live with, support and care for young people aged 8 to 18. This mental health first aid course can be attended by anyone from age 16 upwards.

Not Ready? Ddim yn Barod? The SEXtember Campaign was launched in 2015 to encourage people to discuss sexual health matters openly and without embarrassment during the month of September.  This year's campaign theme is 'Not ready? It's your choice. Get contraception that works for you - and prevent unplanned pregnancy' The seminar will explore why people are not using reliable forms of contraception, what methods are currently available and from where, and key messages we should be sharing with people who are at risk of unplanned pregnancy. The seminar is free of charge and will be held in the Lecture Theatre, Education Centre, Ysbyty Gwynedd. We will also be providing a Teams link to view the seminar, if you can't be there in person.
