Formed in 1977, we are a charity dedicated to supporting everyone involved in childcare and early years to provide high quality services, information and advice to children, their families and carers. We want all children to experience high quality childcare and early education, helping them to have a bright future. Across England and Wales we provide training, expert advice, help and peer support to practitioners and practical and impartial support and information for families and carers and those advising them. We represent the views and experiences of practitioners and champion their vital role in helping prepare children for a bright future.

Malearn offer accredited qualifications and short courses to local residents and childcare businesses. Our Trainers, Assessors and IQAs have a wide range of experiences working in different roles within the education, quality assurance and childcare sector. Malearn qualifications are accredited by Training Qualification UK (TQUK). All our accredited qualifications are regulated through Ofqual. We also offer flexible learning qualifications. Learners will have direct access to an allocated Assessor, who will ensure that they have a positive learning journey. Learners will benefit from regular tutorial, workplace visit and ongoing support for the full duration of the programme. Learners enrolled on our early years and childcare qualifications will receive face-to-face assessment in their work environment, as part of their programme. Our fees include registration, certificate, allocated Trainer/ Assessor and learning resources. In addition, we offer short courses at an affordable price. These short courses are not accredited. However, some are endorsed by CACHE for an additional fee, if the learner wish. These courses are excellent CPD opportunities for any persons in the childcare, business and care sector. Welcome to Fouz Schools. Our prayer is that we can support your child with the education they need to succeed in all endeavors of life and the hereafter. Having personally grownup and lived the maktab/madrasah education experience in the 80’s and 90’s and started teaching in the late 90’s to the present day, coupled with fatherhood, I have had the opportunity to build a close understanding and interest in making sure our community can provide a learning experience to young Muslims that is relevant and relatable for the world they live in. This is despite the limitations we have in resourcing and time. In a time when our children are surrounded with competing ideologies and ways of living, and with maktab education being foundational to their lives as Muslims, it is critical that it hits home for them as independently thinking individuals. I would like to thank our wonderful teachers and parents over the years for their trust and belief in the vision that there was always a better way to educate our children. Teachers have worked tirelessly to develop the curriculum whilst simultaneously delivering it diligently. Keeping one eye on current student progress and an eye on the horizon. In this fast changing world we have constantly reflected on the effectiveness of our content and delivery in preparing for the future.
