The NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Decorative Finishing & Industrial Painting is appropriate for individuals aged 16 and over working in the construction sector who specialise in painting and decorating activity and are looking to become eligible for the Blue CSCS Card. The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence of individuals who specialise in painting and decorating activity. Upon completion of the qualification, you will be awarded the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Decorative Finishing & Industrial Painting. Event Schedule 18:45 Doors open Ceremonial Cacao and herbal tea is served  19:00 Sound Bath introduction 19:15 Sound Bath commences 20:00 Sound Bath concludes 20:15 All guests to depart *Please arrive no later than 19:00    Contraindiactions Whilst both Ceremonial Cacao and Sound Therapy are safe on the whole, like many therapeutic treatments and medicines, there are a few contraindications to be aware of. With this in mind please read the below and if booking for more than one person please forward this email on so everyone is aware and in turn looked after.   Ceremonial Cacao Contraindications Between 6.45pm and 7pm there will be optional Ceremonial Cacao served, which can enhance your experience of the Sound Bath. If choosing to drink some of the cacao provided as part of your ticket, please make sure you are well hydrated before coming to the session, as cacao can be dehydrating (a little like tea and coffee). If you are on MAOI based antidepressants, cacao naturally contains tyramine, which is contraindicative of your medication. Cacao is not suitable for anyone with serious heart conditions, low blood pressure, or anyone on blood thinning or blood pressure lowering medication, as it is a vasodilator. It is also not suitable for anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. The cacao served during ceremonies is 20g per serving (based on one cup per person). The recommended daily dosage should not exceed 50g. The cacao will be made with 100% pure cacao, water and coconut milk. If you have any contraindications or allergies there will also be a variety of herbal teas available for your perusal.    Sound Therapy Contraindications The only absolute contraindication for Sound Therapy is if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy. Although there is no evidence that sound therapy would do any harm to an unborn child this is a standard requirement for insurance purposes across most holistic practices.   If you suffer with Epilepsy or seizures please let the host know in advance of the event. It is unlikely the sound frequencies used would trigger a seizure but by letting the host know we can ensure your needs are met. The Sound Bath itself is designed to encourage you into a deep state of relaxation that can produce imagery. With this in mind if you suffer with mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety the Sound Bath could be triggering. If this is a concern please contact the host directly and we are happy to chat this through with you. It is very rare, but occasionally sound frequencies set unsympathetic resonance with metal implants in the body. There is no problem with this, but if you do have metal plates in your body please let the host know upon arrival so we can check in advance if your implant causes any pain or discomfort. If you require lifesaving medication please let the host know upon arrival so we can ensure your needs are met also.    Inclusivity Policy This event is for anyone 16 years+ unfortunately children under 16 are not permitted. This is for current term time or summer term time students only. Our workshop is equipped with everything a jeweller could wish for. You will have your very own solid jewellers workbench to work on to complete your projects and your own tool kit meaning you won’t have to wait for tools. Your bench is also equipped with its own pendant motor. In the workshop you will also find soldering equipment on each bench, a wide range of professional stone setting tools for various stone setting styles, a wide range of hand tools, texturing tools, a rolling mill, a hydraulic press, polishing equipment, dapping tools and punches, all of which will allow you the chance to create your designs within a professional setting. Overview This course has been created to help safely navigate attendees through the minefield of absence management, paying attention to issues of systems, procedures and organisational culture along the way. Using a selection of exercises, activities and sample documents, the course examines some traditional methods of management as well as some more contemporary and innovative ways of keeping a lid on casual absence. Attendees will take away a number of practical tools and ideas to enable them to target performance improvement when back at their desks. Description It’s estimated that absence from work costs the UK economy over £13 billion per year, with the ‘average’ employee taking around seven days off sick annually. The need for managers, HR people and leaders to control absenteeism is critical if a company is to survive and prosper. But just what is ‘absence’? And how do we go about managing it and reducing it wherever we can, without falling foul of employment law?
