Welcome to the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD). WASD is a global forum that brings together experts from across the world to discuss issues relating to sustainable development (SD), science and technology management. The aim of WASD is to promote the exchange of knowledge, experience, information and ideas among academics, scholars, professionals, policy makers, industry and students to improve the mutual understanding of the roles of science and technology in achieving the United Nations Agenda 2030 for SD and o its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To meet this aim, WASD runs global conferences and seminars, publishes high-quality refereed journals and books, and organises international development projects.

I have loved the beach since I was a kid. Most of my family holidays were spent at the beach and I now have a deep respect for it. However, the ocean is in great danger, suffering from humanity's massive consumption habits. Aside from the ocean, the whole planet ecosystem is on the verge of ruin. The impact of plastic pollution on marine animals and nature is very serious. The hard truth is, every plastic product we use ends up somewhere on this planet somehow. We need to play an active role for a better future. During my career, I have had the chance to travel the world, and I have seen people using plastic in many ways. From one side of the planet to the other, we are far from understanding the danger linked to single use plastic products. From bags to forks to straws, all should be replaced by sustainable products. I have now rethought my whole lifestyle, and truly hope that I’ll be able to make a change by sharing my beliefs as well as offering sustainable products to everyone for a sustainable tomorrow!

Sustainable Driving School is well established company, most of our pupils pass with confident when doing their practical driving test. All pupils pass first time when they start from scratch with Sustainable Driving School. All our instructors are fully government approved. The company plans to make it sustainable for everyone to drive either eco driving, using electric cars, contributing towards improving the environment and financially make it affordable for learners and make it sustainable income for instructors. We work with herding communities, domestic industries, and other stakeholders in Mongolia and China to provide training in rangeland stewardship, animal welfare, and clean fibre processing and to implement the SFA Cashmere Standard. Through our work, the SFA aims to support the long-term viability of the cashmere sector and contribute to the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Brands and retailers in the cashmere industry can become members of the SFA to support its mission and gain access to various benefits and resources.
