In this class we are doing the Wu style Competition Routine. This is a 45-move set of movements using all the features that make Wu style tai chi different to other styles of tai chi. We also do a set of Qigong exercises in this class. This is a 13-week term.

Reiki Level 1 Degree - Shoden A full day of learning about Reiki and Reiki energy with Reiki Master Monica. This day will include: ✨ The History of Reiki ✨ An opening meditation to call in the Reiki energy  ✨ Self healing hand positions  ✨ Grounding & Protection techniques and lots more  ✨ Finishing with an attunement and a closing meditation. Welcome home to the sweet meeting of body and earth. A day of Qigong and Breathwork celebrating the autumn equinox and the abundance of life. Join me for a day retreat in the calm oasis of the Sunhouse to embrace the season of late summer and the Earth Element. A wonderful opportunity to take time out and align yourself with the natural flow of energy around us and within us, allowing each of us to access greater vitality and health. September is a time of transition the moment of fullness before the letting go of autumn. A time of giving and receiving and of recognising our own gifts. For me the one word that sums up the earth element is Gratitude, Gratitude, Gratitude. In this class we work on the Yang 24-Step Tai Chi Form. This is a 'standardised' set of movements that is performed in the same way throughout the world. We also occasionally look at the 'applications' of the movements - how they can be used for self-defence in a gentle non-confrontational way. This is a 13-week term.
