MiDAS is the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme, organised by the Community Transport Association UK (CTA) which promotes a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. The course is designed to enhance minibus driving standards and promote the safer operation of minibuses.

This is an excellent introduction to health and safety in the workplace and will benefit all employees, particularly those who may be accepting a health and safety role, such as a safety representative within their organisation. CITB HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARENESS COURSE The 1 Day CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce, to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site. The Site Safety Plus 1 day CITB health and safety awareness course provides a practical summary of safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employers duties are and what should be done if they think anyones safety and health is being put at risk. The aims and objectives of the CITB health and safety awareness course are to ensure that individual responsibilities are understood: why they are carrying out their identified duties what is expected of them to ensure that they contribute to the safety of the workplace To ensure that the end of the CITB health and safety in construction course delegates will be able to: understand the need to prevent accidents have an understanding of the law identify how their role fits into the control and management of the site understand the need for risk assessments and method statements appreciate the need to perform safely and to stop and ask for advice if not sure feel obliged to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident IMPORTANT INFORMATION Photographic I.D. is required for all delegates Written parental consent is required for all delegates under 18 years of age Failure to provide this on the first day of the course is likely to result in the delegate not being allowed to attend or complete the training.

The First Aid at Work qualification is the most comprehensive of all our first aid qualifications, and covers a wide range of skills which can be used within a workplace first aid situation, including: assessing the scene, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis, plus much more.

Course Summary Mini Medics - First Aid The Mini Medics courses is a Child friendly introduction to first aid and defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 11, but it can suit children of any age from about 5 upwards. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies. The mini medics course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured. BOHS P903 - Management and control of evaporative cooling and other high risk industrial systems is there to provide background and an overview of the risk of Legionella infection and how it can be controlled in Evaporative Cooling and other high risk Industrial type systems. It is a requirement of this course that candidates have successfully completed P901 - Legionella- Management and Control of Building Hot and Cold Water Services. Where both P901 and P903 courses are run on subsequent days or as a combined course then this prerequisite is waived.
