The Emergency First Aid At Work course covers worst case scenarios and some of the more common minor injuries. It is aimed at those working in lower risk areas such as offices and shops. You will need to attend a full 7 hours of trining (breaks included) First Aid Training at Splat is relaxed and enjoyable. We aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day. There are some practical and some multiple-choice assessments but our job is to ensure you have everything you need to pass these easily. Please note that First Aid can be quite physical, you will need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and Recovery Position. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move around in, and, if possible, please let us know ahead of time if there is anything we can do to help support you and your enjoyment of the day.

This module aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the use of customs warehousing in the export and in import of goods. This includes the use of duty deferral, temporary storage, the processing of merchandise, bonded stock, consolidation and special processes and services.
This qualification is for unsupported outdoor or adventure activity leaders, typically operating in situations where help is less than a few hours away, e.g. outdoor instructors, outdoor learning practitioners, mountain leaders, Duke of Edinburgh assessors, bushcraft instructors, forest school leaders, canoe expedition leaders. An interactive course guiding you through the ins and outs of the 12 lead electrocardiogram (ECG). Starting with an introduction to cardiac anatomy, physiology and the electrical conduction system, we will guide delegates through how to perform a 12 lead ECG correctly and how to begin its interpretation. Using real-life examples you’ll learn the important aspects of atrial arrhythmias, heart blocks, bundle branch blocks, ventricular arrhythmias in addition to changes that occur during myocardial infarction, ischaemia and electrolyte imbalances. The course will be provided by Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiac Clinical Scientists from Manchester University Foundation Trust - one of the largest tertiary cardiac centres in the UK.
