“Filmmaking is a chance to live many lifetimes” - Robert Altman Our Film Production Course is led by highly experienced videographer and cinematographer Max Jewell-Smith, and award-winning actor and producer Henry Hereford, who has been working in the industry for more than 20 years in the UK, Australia and the US. Henry is a producer with the production company, Fluffy Cat, who have worked on films such as For The Love Of George, To Leslie, and Well Behaved Woman, so he has plenty of unique insight to share with students. With a mix of technical skills, script writing and acting, students on our Film Production course will work together to create a short film that they will showcase on Friday. ‍ WHEN AND WHERE? The Film Production Course takes place in Cranleigh Arts Centre, around 20 minutes from Guildford. The venue has a professional theatre, a sprung dance floor for choreography sessions, dressing rooms, and lots of great areas for filming and multimedia activities, so it's the perfect spot for our aspiring performers to learn in. ‍ Monday 22nd - Friday 26th July 2023 In2Drama is split into two groups for age related focus 11-15 year olds: 1pm - 4:00pm 16-21 year olds: 9am - 12:00pm

“Music is the movement of sound to reach the soul for the education of its virtue.” - Plato Our Music Production Masterclass is a 2-day course led by music producer and Musical Theatre student, Jack Howells Davies, alongside a secondary Music Production tutor (TBC). With experience in music technology, composing, producing music for video, film scoring, composition and more, Jack’s expertise will help guide budding music producers on their journey to creating amazing music for a variety of formats.  Jack is currently studying a BA in Musical Theatre at the Conservatoire, and also has professional training at Hurtwood House, Guildford School of Acting and Stagecoach in a number of musical styles and genres, as well as experience in musical theatre audition technique, so he is a great asset to our teaching faculty who can advise in a number of areas. When you join this 2-day intensive course, you’ll learn the art of production which can help every type of creative to showcase their musical talents in the best way. This course will help students develop skills to produce music for outlets such as film and television soundtracks, and music videos, and musicians will even have the opportunity to write and play contemporary music for performance. ‍ WHEN AND WHERE? With it, it becomes creation.” - Bette Davis Our Acting Masterclass is led by award-winning actor and producer Henry Hereford, known for his roles in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, True Blood, Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am, and much more.  If you are interested in learning the craft of acting, how to break into the business and how to successfully audition for roles, this is the course for you.  Henry’s programme will give you a head start in learning the skills you need to carve out a successful career as an actor in future. You will have a supportive environment to ask any questions you have about auditioning for drama schools or casting calls, and explore many acting techniques with the help of an industry professional. With Henry’s help and the chance to perform in front of a live audience at the end of the course, you’ll have your acting career off to a great start! ‍ WHEN AND WHERE? I am a DJ with over 20 years of experience playing for crowds at some of the most well-respected venues, events, and festivals across the globe. I have played DJ sets for crowds of anywhere between a small, intimate group, right up to over 10,000 people at events such as 'Burning Man' in the USA.    My styles can either be of a dance tempo involving deep, melodic, trance-inducing beats, which are perfect for any dancefloor space large or small.   Or I have many years of experience in selecting the perfect eclectic soundtrack for sunset moments, chill-out spaces, or creating magical background atmospheres within various events and spaces.   For all enquiries, please contact me here.
