“Filmmaking is a chance to live many lifetimes” - Robert Altman Our Film Production Course is led by highly experienced videographer and cinematographer Max Jewell-Smith, and award-winning actor and producer Henry Hereford, who has been working in the industry for more than 20 years in the UK, Australia and the US. Henry is a producer with the production company, Fluffy Cat, who have worked on films such as For The Love Of George, To Leslie, and Well Behaved Woman, so he has plenty of unique insight to share with students. With a mix of technical skills, script writing and acting, students on our Film Production course will work together to create a short film that they will showcase on Friday. ‍ WHEN AND WHERE? The Film Production Course takes place in Cranleigh Arts Centre, around 20 minutes from Guildford. The venue has a professional theatre, a sprung dance floor for choreography sessions, dressing rooms, and lots of great areas for filming and multimedia activities, so it's the perfect spot for our aspiring performers to learn in. ‍ Monday 22nd - Friday 26th July 2023 In2Drama is split into two groups for age related focus 11-15 year olds: 1pm - 4:00pm 16-21 year olds: 9am - 12:00pm

Technical singing lessons tailored to the individual's needs and requests. This can cover fixing vocal issues or obstacles, developing and broadening technique and understanding how the voice works for all genres of music and singing styles. I utilise the Estill Model in my teaching as well as training and experience working with various singing teachers throughout the industry.

They'll sing, dance, act, play games, create beautiful artwork and make new friends!  "Max had the best day!! All staff are DBS checked and have qualifications in teaching and learning.

This milestone is a testament to their dedication, yet we hold the philosophy that the path of ballet is as unique as each dancer; thus, participation in exams is entirely voluntary. For those who feel the call to delve deeper, pursuing an exam offers a structured opportunity to refine their technique and immerse themselves in the discipline of ballet. The choice to undertake an exam goes beyond the dance studio; it’s a lesson in self-discipline, a challenge that beckons our young dancers to dedicate themselves to practice and perfection. It’s about setting a goal that’s not just about leaps and turns but about growth and self-discovery. Our curriculum is designed not only to prepare students for these exams but to instill a sense of accomplishment and motivation, driving them to reach new heights. “Music is the movement of sound to reach the soul for the education of its virtue.” - Plato Our Music Production Masterclass is a 2-day course led by music producer and Musical Theatre student, Jack Howells Davies, alongside a secondary Music Production tutor (TBC). With experience in music technology, composing, producing music for video, film scoring, composition and more, Jack’s expertise will help guide budding music producers on their journey to creating amazing music for a variety of formats.  Jack is currently studying a BA in Musical Theatre at the Conservatoire, and also has professional training at Hurtwood House, Guildford School of Acting and Stagecoach in a number of musical styles and genres, as well as experience in musical theatre audition technique, so he is a great asset to our teaching faculty who can advise in a number of areas. When you join this 2-day intensive course, you’ll learn the art of production which can help every type of creative to showcase their musical talents in the best way. This course will help students develop skills to produce music for outlets such as film and television soundtracks, and music videos, and musicians will even have the opportunity to write and play contemporary music for performance. ‍ WHEN AND WHERE? The Greek Language Summer Camp is a great way for your child to greatly improve their Greek and have fun with other international children. Our program is for children aged 6-15 years and aims to develop children’s speaking skills and boost their confidence when speaking Greek. Young learners are usually faster to learn and grasp foreign languages, especially some aspects of languages like the pronunciation and new vocabulary. This is precisely why close contact with a Greek speaking environment and native Greek speakers is the perfect opportunity for children to engage in the Greek language fast and absorb new skills very quickly.
