This 3-hour course covers Basic Life Support skills and includes skills for adult, child and infant as well as healthcare variations on infant CPR. The course includes: safety, precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression only CPR, CPR handover and choking. This course complies with the latest ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond. Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 regulated course

This Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and Head Injuries - an annual refresher course, is suitable for all Health Professionals, teachers, parents and carers and anyone who has any of the above conditions; or is working with, or involved in the care of any child or young person who has any of these long term health conditions. It is a comprehensive course that explains; the physiology of the conditions, common triggers, signs and symptoms, how to recognise an acute episode, what to do, how to treat and how to administer medication. The course also provides helpful support to Schools and health professionals in writing Individual Healthcare Plans and supporting children with these medical conditions to play a full and active role in school life, remain healthy and achieve their academic potential. This course is designed to give you the knowledge to identify and help someone experiencing one of these complex medical conditions. This course does not seek to replace a practical course but allows you to learn these vital skills at a time and place to suit you. The course consists of illustrated step by step directions, flow charts, diagrams, videos and test yourself sections fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices. You will be able to stop and start as often as you like and print your Certificate on completion. You have continuous access to this course for 12 months. Ideally this course should be undertaken in conjunction with the separate course on Supporting pupils at school with medical conditions and giving medication in schools, nurseries and childcare settings. Comply Sense in person safeguarding course in Crawley, West Sussex for childminders

This is a one day course for employees in a low risk environment where a qualified first aider is necessary. This course became EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK from October 2009 making it a qualification and not just an attendance.

This one day course is SQA SCQF Level 6 accredited and satisfies the requirements of the new HSE qualification “Emergency First Aider in the Workplace”. This qualification gives your employees skills in basic first aid treatment, providing care for low level incidents right through to life-preserving techniques in the event of an emergency. Content includes learning how to deal with: Wounds Burns Stroke Shock Choking CPR Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) This qualification allows the successful trainee to act as your appointed person within the workplace, and take charge of any first aid arrangements, including equipment and facilities. If the work environment is small and fairly low risk, or if the workplace is larger but the employee would be providing support to the Named First Aider, then this would provide sufficient information to be able to deal with any likely first aid needs that may arise. The certificate is valid for 3 years. Participants must be age 14 and over.

BOHS P304 is designed to give practical guidance on assessing the health risks caused by hazardous substances, in order to meet the requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 for a 'suitable and sufficient' risk assessment.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.
