Our Blended Learning course comprises of 6 hours Video Training presented by our own GEM trainers and then attending 1 day face to face with us. Fully meets Ofsted & EYFS requirements.

Our Blended Learning Emergency First Aid at Work course comprises of 3 hours Video Training and attending 3 hours face to face. Ideal for low risk organisations.

The 2-hour Baby & Child First Aid class covers CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures and Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness and will give everyone who attends the peace of mind they deserve.

Our *NEW* Mini First Aid Baby Proofing class is our second class, designed for parents and carers of babies and children over 3 months. It can be taken after our 2 hour Baby and Child First Aid class, or in isolation for those parents who are starting their weaning journey, or have a baby on the move!

The Emergency Fist Aid at Work is an accredited 1 day, instructor led course in a fully equipped training room. We use a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, role play, group discussion, games and the use of equipment / technology to cover the different learning styles of the individual. All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. A range of subjects are covered including:- • Responsibilities and reporting • Resuscitation and AED awareness • Burns • Assessment of the situation • Anatomy • Choking • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Minor injuries • Epilepsy • Basic hygiene in First Aid • Bleeding control • Shock Certification Practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor, and a three year qualification will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria. In addition, the HSE strongly recommend that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of three hours. Instructions Please can learners ensure they wear trousers and a full shoe. Learners need to be physically fit and well to undertake the activities for First Aid Training, which requires learners to carryout CPR on the floor. Immerse Training is a fully regulated First Aid Training Provider. We love working in schools, nurseries and youth groups teaching young people how to keep each other safe and what to do if something goes wrong. Our training for young people is fun, engaging and focuses on fundamental life saving skills.  All courses can be delivered at our training centre in Poole, Dorset or we can deliver on-site across Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset, Hampshire and the South of England.

This qualification gives the participant the knowledge and skills to take on the role of a first aider in the work environment. Employers can book this course for their employees in the knowledge that they are fulfilling their legal statutory responsibilities for providing quality first aid training
