These special First Aid Skills Practice Sessions give you the chance to refresh your theory and/or practical skills Whichever subjects you would like to work on - you choose what you want to practice or know more about Course Contents: Can’t quite remember how or why to put someone in the recovery position? Practice it! Still confident in giving CPR? Ever done it with different barriers? Here’s your chance. Scared of what to do if someone chokes? We have baby and child infant choking models and an adult choking vest. Save their lives! Bandage a wound, apply a sling, treat someone for shock? That can be done. Want to know more about Heart Attacks or Strokes? Just let us know. Know the theory about an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), but haven’t had the chance to actually use one? Now you can. Fun, interactive, fully accredited First Aid at Work 3 day course

First Aid Basic Life Support training is mandatory for all staff who are responsible for taking action when a client has had an accident. About this event Medication Awareness training is for staff who have had never taken part in Medication training before or staff returning to the profession. By the end of the course, you will be able to: Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider Be able to assess an emergency situation safely Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries Location for delegates attending in person 29 Bridgnorth Row, Worcester WR4 0QF. Before you book: Please do not send along staff who have just worked a nightshift or who will be visiting clients immediately before or immediately after a training session. People arriving tired, stressed or late cannot gain the most benefit from a training course. We reserve the right to turn away individuals too exhausted to focus on the training or staff who turn up late for a course and disturb the flow of the proceedings. Cancellations CH Care Training operates a sliding scale of cancellation; If you cancel more than two weeks before the start date of a course, you can ask for a full refund, to change the names of the delegates being sent along, or to transfer a delegate to another training date. If you cancel less than a week from the training delivery date we wont be able to refund. There are no refunds for staff who do not turn up on the day of the training course. Teaching you how to treat your child should the worst occur Children can be present, though parents will remain responsible for them throughout 2.5 - 3 hr sessions Course Contents: What to do if your child goes unconscious How to check if they are breathing normally or not If they are, how to put them in the recovery position If they are not, how to start CPR and use an AED (defibrillator) What to do if your child were to choke What to do if they were to get burnt How to treat minor injuries (dependent on available time) Past Sessions: Sessions in the past have been paid for by a local charity, enabling parents to access the training for free We're happy to put on sessions for your group, playgroup, charity, or simply for you and your children We're always happy to have little ones come along They can either play around, or join us - they usually prefer to join us and play with the manikins, even trying out CPR! You will, of course, remain fully responsible for them while they are there Accreditation: These sessions are tailored to the needs of parents and are therefore not accredited. That would be - consultation, consent, marking up, readying equipment, performing the injection, providing advice and aftercare. DAY THREE AND FOUR BOTOX FOUNDATION COURSE Day three Arrive and coffees (10.00) introduction and expectations (10.00 – 10.30) Structure of the training (10.30 – 11.00) Formal written examination covering key areas of THEORY for Botox Application: Anatomy, Physiology, Products and Complications. This will highlight early on if any important areas need to be covered in more detail for the students (11.00 - 1200) - Break for lunch - Practical session commences - (12.30 - 1800) - and in total on average we have one model per 30 minutes on both the botox and days, so that’s a potential of 10 in total for a class size of 4, which will give good hands on experience, as the way we train is to allow several people the opportunity to be involved with each patient - e.g. splitting into the phases of treatment, which allows the trainees to understand the concept of the treatment process. That would be - consultation, consent, marking up, readying equipment, performing the injection, providing advice and aftercare. Day four Observed Treatment Process Examination The participants will be tested on the following key facets of safe practical care: Consultation process - rapport and understanding what the client wants Safe consent Marking and photographs Technical skill of injection Atercare provision and safety netting (eg if this happens do this / call me) 1 model will be provided for Botulinum (3 area) treatment and 1 - 2 clients for filler to ensure that each of the key anatomical areas covered are observed. Morning = Botulinum (0900 - 1230) Afternoon = Botulinum and Option Dermal fillers (1330 - 1630) Conclusion Candidates given session and refreshments and discussion regarding Case Studies and further support. (1700 - 1800)
