All artist at one time or another will feel the need for inspiration and motivation and what better way than immersing yourself in a painting break, Studio views overlooking the sea in Bournemouth. Inspiring scenery and our special breaks are a little different. You will receive help and guidance from Three professional artists over the course of the break. Covering different techniques and different subject matter. There will also be demonstrations to get those artist instincts tingling. This is a great way to rejuvenate and develop your art by immersing yourself in one of our much loved TRIO breaks. No Matter what creative stage you’re at in your artistic journey, there is something for every ability on offer.

An introduction course is a great way to learn about the amazing craft of blacksmithing, the course will teach you the basics of forging and making decorative work for your home and you will have something you have made to take home with you and enjoy.  On the course we will make a number of small items, including hooks, bottle openers, key rings, pendants, candle holders and others based on time available. Courses are £150 Per person per day  I run a strict cancellation policy. If you cannot attend the date you have booked please contact me within three weeks and I will rebook your course for free, If you contact me after this deadline you will lose your place. Refunds are not available. No under 18s  If you have a physical gift voucher it must be presented on the first day of a course. *Gift vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase

A simple pattern drafting course for anyone wanting to draft patterns for themselves or others. Great for teachers of GCSE and A Level Fashion & Textiles for both Art & Design and D&T.

The Savile Row Academy Advanced Course in Bespoke Tailoring and Cutting starts each September. The course is a modular programme of advanced study modules including; pattern drafting, cloth cutting, fitting and remarking; Waistcoat making; Trouser making; Coat making. Students will complete one three-piece suit and successful trainees will be awarded a Bespoke Tailor’s Certificate.

Take your calligraphy to the next level with this 4-hour session devoted to majuscules (capital letters). We’ll explore classical capital forms, entry strokes, and how to add grace and flourish to your writing. This session is ideal for those who have taken the minuscules workshop or already have some experience with pointed pen calligraphy. A separate Minuscules session is also available to book if you’d like to start from the beginning or strengthen your foundation.
