Our intensive 10, 15 or 20 day Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses have been structured to meet the ever increasing demands on industry to meet safety, environmental and legal requirements regarding installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of both refrigeration and air conditioning systems including the electrical aspects of installation dependent upon course selection. The first 10 days of the Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training course are mechanical only, the following 5 or 10 days are the electrical aspects, depending on which route you need to go down. The Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are accredited with the City & Guilds 2079, BESA Pipework and Brazing – (commercial), along with an EAL Unit* – Maintenance of Refrigeration Systems from the EAL Certificate in Engineering Technology (QCF) qualification. (*Practical elements will be covered during the course with a Project booklet to be completed by the student with an element of self-study after the course completion for us to claim the Unit certification from EAL). Our Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are designed to be as practical as they possibly can be, with workshop time taking more than 70% of the course. Our first aid at work training courses are in accordance with guidance provided by the Health & Safety executive (HSE) and are both fun and informative. This qualification should enable Learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider and include dynamic and realistic casualty simulation which puts the candidates through their paces. We hold the First Aid at Work course at our Education Centre in Ellesmere Port. We are also able to teach this course 'in-house' at our clients preferred site. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
The VTCT Skills Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments is a course that has been specifically designed to develop your practical beauty therapy skills such as; face and body electrotherapy and body massage. To further enhance your practical skills you will have the opportunity to choose from the following practical units; providing massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils, electrical epilation, individual permanent lashes, intimate waxing, spray tan and how to apply self-tan products, and nail enhancements. Within this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication and you can also choose to learn about IT and data handling and contributing to the effective running of a beauty therapy business. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills as a beauty therapist to enable you to provide beauty therapy treatments.
An Introduction course is a great way to learn about the amazing craft of blacksmithing. The course will teach you the basics of forging and making decorative work for your home, and you will have something you have made to take home with you and enjoy. On the course we will make a number of small items, including hooks, key rings, pendants, candle holders and others based on time available. This course is open for 12-17 year olds and will be taught on a one-to-one basis allowing the student to fully immerse themselves in the craft. Parent or guardian MUST attend and may join in the course for a fee. Courses are £200 per day A second student or the parent/guardian can be join the course for £100 I run a strict cancellation policy.
